I don't think sony is not presenting any new exclusive content for the VGA's.

The team responsible was shut down at about the half-way mark and the rest of the game was thrown to another developer. ONI was not close to being finished hence why it suffered.

Nvidia is the primary reason why the ps3 has been a money drain on sony and there's a reason why sony will not chose to support an nvidia gpu in the ps4, just like ms didn't in the 360.
Nvidia keeps the price of the cards they sell to sony artificially high so they can make more money, burning a bridge in the long run.

Let me either pay for it in full, and have access to everything from day one, or pay for it via a subscription.
