with GT and PD's attention to detail, quantity of cars and race types.
And with forza's and turn 10's physics(including damage), manufactures, and user options/customization.
I hope that XNA and indie games get a decent amount of applications for the zune.
but you have to remember that blizzard is part of activision too.
i don't get it.
I mean you could've done something like this.

but instead you completely missed the opportunity to make a relevant joke.
And bungie is a good developer.
They've supported their community with longevity in their DLC and playlists and I'll support bungie by purchasing their game.
Plus I'd rather give my money to a team like bungie then to someone like activision.
It doesn't make sense that you have someone denying the price point in your ad. If you didn't know anything about the ps3 or about the price drop it'd be easy to get confused on what exactly the ad is telling you.
I liked the last set of ads where the graffiti came alive on the wall, by far their best ads.
I believe a bungie member stated that if something for halo-reach is shown they don't have any idea about it.
tessellation provides 2 major benefits.
1 - an increase in the model quality
2 - optimized performance.
Think about a large mountain in the background that's a polygon. Normally when you create a model or terrain you have a control for the level of detail, as you move away the LOD decreases, as you get closer it increases. Currently what happens when you move away is that the entire model decreases, so that the further away you are the more blocky the object is...
Recently there was a large shift in what the 360 was capable of, all of which can be dated back to the advent of the new xbox development SKU's that were released.

prior to gdc 2009, Microsoft announced that it was giving studios dev-kits that provided more ram so that developers weren't being physically...
Glad to see that the card is still scalable against AA/AF.

the performance drop on L4D from 4AA&8AF to 8AA&16AF is commendable. 5fps for double the AF and AA speaks volumes.
I can't wait to see the performance of 2 5870x2's in xfire, along with a game that takes full advantage of dx11.
by that logic, neither has MS.
however console gaming is far more convenient and you tend to get a more consistent experience.
That said, I'd never give up playing games like l4d, crysis warhead and most rts/fps games that were designed for PC's then ported to consoles. The PC is still the father for a lot of current gaming trends and will always be at the forefront of gaming.
Also graphics.
the reviewer clearly didn't play the game, because everyone knows that you can't dual wield, and that there are 2 new weapons. And that the health is arguably different, and the that the formula while similar isn't the same, open world, no equipment, new enemy, etc.
Also, how was he able to get out a review before the NDA was up?
glad that someone has put in some effort to point out the conspicuous review.
half life (including mods like team fortress and counter-strike)
cod (best of world war)
halo (best sci-fi action)
unreal/quake tie (best twich shooter)
battlefield (large expansive environment, and some of the funniest writing)
runner up franchises. 'shock' franchise (bioshock/system shock 1/2), mass effect and marathon.
goldeneye, deus ex, perfect dark don't make up for their franchise history but are still amazing games.
They could put on full orchestrated performances for the amazing music in halo.
By far one of the best features of halo games has been they extremely well done audio.
It complements the game in way that few others do. I've never thought that the next fight in a halo game would be tedious and when this music kicks in it makes me want to kicks as much covenant ass as possible.
Is that gt psp is a great tech demo for what can truly be accomplished on the PSP but it's not the gran turismo everyone expected.
It's got great gameplay and graphics but lacks options, gamemodes and replay value. I personally prefer mobile games to be very pick-up and play and I would've liked to see gran turismo do a shortened career mode.
either way it's game people will need to play for themselves to find out if they like it.
Whether or not the game is good, I'm happy that bungie is making money.
Bungie is one of the best developers in the industry, their community support and overall affection for developing great games is a godsend compared to developers and publishers like activision.
You'll be getting my hard earned cash.
I'm regretting purchasing my ps3, and have begun buying more and more games for my 360. The amount of hate spurred by fanboys on this site is disgusting.
What's sad is many of the websites are now being over-run by extremely fanatic ps3 fanboys. Go to gametrailers and all ps3 exclusive games have a better score then anything multi-platform, and the 360 exclusives are extremely low. Even if the games evidently suck. Anyone who says anything bad about a ps3 game instantly gets comm...
however I've been unimpressed by either title up until this point.
on neogaf, but don't quote me on this.
