because you same kids troll every 360 thread.
sony must pay you guys a lot to have no lives...

"We also present simulation results that demonstrate Donnybrook’s efficacy in enabling battles of up to 900 players."
love the disagree. Not sure why someone disagreed with this, it's a quote from their sigcomm 2008 presentation.

they'd be called the biggest ^&() in the room.
and as of right now alan wake is not in development for the pc, so it too is an exclusive too.
it's console exclusive, I wont be able to play it on my ps3 or wii, so that seems pretty exclusive if you ask me.
here are just some of the well known franchises coming for the 360 in 2010:
mech warrior
splinter cell conviction
mass effect 2
fable 3
perfect dark hd
halo reach
that doesn't include games like
alan ...
splintercell conviction and halo reach are also 2 of gaming's largest franchises releasing exclusively on the 360. You have a moot point.
I'm not saying anything about sales, I'm talking purely about the quantity of quality titles.
Edit: your opinion on the series thus far is not in tandem with the rest of gamers out there.
some of the awards garnered by the latest splintercell:
* Received IGN's award for Best Xbox Action Game of 2006[3]
FF13, COD7(or w/e), madden, and halo reach?
This year is going to be a whole other show.
Unless sony's motion controller can garner as much attention as natal I don't see sony pulling out ahead this year. And with one of the largest, if not the largest game being a multiplatform release (FF13) it'll be hard for sony to make up an exclusive to fill it's place.
Exclusives game wise it's going to be close but again I see the 360 with a stronger lineup, even without Halo Reach.
I'm confused on the gamplay.
All you do is hold down a button and everything happens on it's own? It's like the game is on rails and you just chose where the train goes.
the character models looked stunning, but everything else, like the environments were either really bland and empty or very linear.
The voice acting, animation and textures are top notch though.
what idiots, everyone knew it was cg, everyone was told it was cg.
was also packed with the console.
It's like comparing GT with wii sports.
the pc version has been in suspended development, all current footage is from the 360.
and you can blame nvidia for it. They did the exact same thing with MS last generation, keeping the prices for those graphic cards artificially high and screwing over sony.
There's a reason why ms went with ati, and there's a reason that none of the rumors of sony's and MS's new console have even mentioned nvdia as a possible supplier.
nvidia is screwing over sony just like they did with MS and the original xbox.
One thing I always enjoyed about halo is that the people, marines, etc all talked with authority and respect, they acted mature. The unsc seems to be full of intelligent people as opposed to games like gears of war and killzone 2 where vulgarities pepper the language. Honestly, the swearing in killzone 2 is more then what I get from matchmaking on mw2, which is sad, it makes it seem like they're marketing the games to kids. Like the cast consists of 15 year olds with mics on the internet.
even l4d took this approach where as tf2 didn't, prior to which all of valves games had been based on server user model. That speaks volumes for how halo's match-making has changed online communities.
In halo 3 you get a boat load of new movie making features, something else relatively new. Sure in games you can make movies, but in those cases you never get full access to roam the map, pause, re-wind etc. I believe that this was a lot of the inspiration for the system in uncharte...
the ps3 and the 360 are roughly equal in terms of technical capabilities.
carmac
sweeney
Dave shippy (the former IBM architect who helped design both consoles)
dyack
kojima
etc
The only people who have been saying otherwise are the fanboys who're upset because they threw down an extra $200 to get the one console over the other.
If this were running on the ps3, the fanboys would stating that the 360 is incapable of doing thes...
Because I know that they play sales. How else to they decide on which console they should release their games?
Remember it's all about maximizing profits for developers.
i've never seen better atmospheric lighting, the clouds look extremely real.
I can't wait to see what the game will look like in motion with things blowing up, gunfire, enemies, some good music, etc.
sounds like a fanboy upset.
