Not so much hate, I think, more dissapointement that's it's pretty much an exact replica of the first two games.
Even though I love Deathspank, even I have to admit I'm dissapointed in The Baconing. I'm still enjoying it, but that doesn't mean I can't be dissapointed as well
I'm pretty interested in this game, but I fear it might just fall foul of the hack and slash curse; I.E. all a hackin an little else.
Ah, beggining to run out of things to do a Top Ten about? :D
Yes, F1 over FM4. Personally I find Forza to do so many things right, but on-track it lacks, and excuse the this, the soul. I don't feel like it's on the edge racing. So, for more thrilling racing, I chose F1 over FM4.
I actually agree with you about the PIZAZZ! Now that I go back and read it, I'm not entirely happy with its writing. Ah well, hindsight.
They're very different styles of game, though. But I know what you mean :)
I found Sega Rally got dull pretty quickly.
Well, it was a pretty boring read. There just wasn't much in there, to be honest.
Ah well. What games are you lot planning on picking up this month?
Ouch. I actually didn't find it to be too bad. Not great, but for a movie based game it was actually sort of decent :D
Interesting list, but I have to say that I disagree with Warhammer. Not because you want to avoid, that's up to you, but because you said it was a Gears of War clone. Play the game and you quickly realise that they're nothing alike. Or, at least, I honestly can't see any way that they are alike.
I've got to say that the amount of people who look at it and scream Gears clone is unbelievable. Play the game, folks, and you quickly realise that they're worlds apart :)
OMGWTATWABBQSAUCEWTHWITHCHIPS!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, damn funny pics :D
Really looking forward to gettings my hands on this as it really seems that Codies have just thrown up a yearly update with a few tiny tweaks.
I'm glad you enjoyed my little opinion piece, mate. I did consider going into the fanboy aspect of things, but due to the fact its been around since the beggining anyway I didn't think it was worth getting into it. perhaps that was a mistake :)
Hehe :D
With Deus Ex it seems that the critics and the majority of gamers are actually in agreement for once. Next you know we'll be getting a blue moon as well.
Well....this was pointless. I'm all up for voicing an opinion, but this was a short little rant against the game without offering any argument for the game as well. This wouldn't have bothered me, as it is an opinion, if it had felt like a little more thought had gone into it.
As for Deus Ex, I definately don't believe it's a perfect game, but I'm stil enjoying it :D
By Odin's beard I hated that damn "mountain". Many a night did I dream of melting it all down, all the while laughing like a maniac.
On retrospect, it's probably a good thing I stopped playing.....
God, I love Trials HD. I spent so many hours competitng with friends for the best time, but the best aspect was the level editor. I would sit and draw out designs in a notebook and then spend weeks getting one track just right. I even had quite a following on the Xbox.com forums who looked forward to each time I released a new track.
Happy days.
Actually, I'm going to go have a shot of it. Just one go. Just one. One more. And another......
In some ways I guess they aren't. Mostly because RPG elements are turning up everywhere now, I reckon.
Here's hoping Mass Effect 3 gives us the best of both worlds, then; plenty of RPG elements and fun shooting.
Brothers to the last fight.
Brothers to the last enemy.
Brothers to the last hour.
Brothers to the last bullet.
Brothers to the last breath.
Brothers to the last hope.
And here's hoping that Epic give the series that started my Xbox 360 obsession the finale it deserves. Role on Gears of War 3.
