I'm honestly surprised 505 picked this game up. Surely they knew the media storm over it would be huge. Mind you, it's the perfect advertising, really.
But if anyone buys this I'll be amazed. Unless those people don't know who the hell Blackwater are, anyway.

Ignoring the many spelling mistakes in the article, it's a a bit of a leap to claim that May Payne 3's release tells us the date for the next GTA.

I completely agree with you on that, mate. I would have liked to have seen a much clearer description of how CA's pricing model works on the marketplace to save all this confusion.
It is quite misleading, hence the amount of players excitedly running onto forums and shouting to the world that they got the game for free, and that everyone else should go grab it quickly before MS realise the mistake.
In hindsight, that's actually a pretty good campaign for Certain Affinity. All of those people will now have run out to get the game, found out it's not actually free and then decided that they might as well give the game a shot since they've go...

It's not a mistake. The download contains the trial game and full game. You can then play the trial version which lets you play solo for the first three levels or 15 minutes online. After that you can purchase a character pack which gives you access to one character for 800MSP, or a 1200MSP pack which gives you access to all three

Let me ignore the fact the link leads to the Sony story, and focus on one critical point; consoles cannot compete with a PC for pure graphical power, simply because the PC can be continously upgraded to allow better and better graphics.
