I just found the game rather dull. It's a hack n slash with some loot, but other than that there wasn't really anything to the game. With mates, hacking things up is always more fun.
I didn't claim the game was hard, it's actually pretty easy.
Just my views, though :)
After playing Crimson Alliance for a good while, my short verdict is don't buy it unless you've got a few other friends getting it as well for some co-op action.
Nice idea, mate :)
I'd be interested in how much hate I would get simply because I'm a smaller, independent site :D
But, yes, I reckon it's a good idea.
I've been sitting on the fence about Dead Island after hearing some pretty mixed views on it. Might just have to see about picking this up down the line, now.
What amazes me is how a person could see "bro" as a racial slur or insult. I mean how....why...what......wha!?
Yeah, with friends it'll be fun, but I couldn't recommend it as a singleplayer game. Time to head online and see who's playing :)
A very enjoyable wishlist. It covered practically everything I want from ME3.
The big point for me is that they blend the new, fun combat system but also manage to put in solid RPG mechanics as well. Should this happen, I'll be a happy Wolfy :D
Damn good article!
I'm sort of the same; now that I do reviews and play so many more games, it's widenened my perspective quite a bit.
At the end of the day, I still hold I'm a gamer first and a reviewer second. And I'm definately not a critic; if I ever throw the words "tour de force" into a review, I'll shoot myself :D
I honestly don't think the games that great. I've played about five levels as the Warrior, and it's just a basic hack and slash with a bit of loot chucked in.
I'm away to try some other characters out shortly to see how they feel.
But, in the games defense, I'm currently playing singleplayer. so I'll have to get on and give co-op a blast
Hehe, lucky, mate. I've never managed to make it to an F1 race yet, but I'd love to!
Earmuffs? Naaaaaahhhhhh, you got to experience the SOOOOOUUUNNNNND! :D
Hmmm, rumours have been running around for some time about the next generation of consoles. I'd be highly surprised if basic developement of PS4 (and for that matter, X 720) titles are underway. By that I mean concept art, basic designs and possibly a few tech demos :)
He never said Plus is anything like Live, he just said Sony saw how successful a paid service can be and launched Plus.
As for the article, as long as I think the money is worth the content I'll continue to pay happily.
I....I....I..I...I don't even know what to say. Goggles? GOGGLES!? Damn you top ten list, damn you!
:D
A very enjoyable list :)
Whoops, double post. Sorry guys!
Ah, the everlasting way between Call of Duty and Battlefield. When I'm old and grey, I still fully expect this battle to be ongoing, until the day when the entire universe gets fed up and slaps the living Hell out of both sides, demands they kiget alongs and craft Call of Duty: Battlefield using their combined awesomness.
It's an unlikely dream, but I maintain hope :D
I hate that Xbox 360 didn't get a Beta as well, but oh well :)
Looking forward to Novemeber and getting back online. Hopefully my skills from Brotherhood should transfer nicely over to Revelations :D
It's a sequel, so it was never going to be very different. Instead it's more case of refining whats already there and tweaking a couple of other little things.
I've been having plenty of fun with Driver so far. It's not a Driver game of old, which is a bit of a blow, but I quickly accepted that and just got to playing the game. I've seen people complaining about the Shift not being "realistic" as well, but this is a game and the story really shouldn't be taken seriously. Shift allows for some pretty fun missions :)
Not long until I can punt Vettel off the track now :D
