For the people that didn't go and actually check out everything Peter Hines has been saying, there has been some clarification since the Tweet featured in this story.
A response to an angry fan on Twitter from Peter Hines:
"I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming."
This is a bit of a daft statement, though, as both Bethesda and Microsoft clearly gave a timeline for th...
It's interesting as Bethesda initially stated that Dawnguard would be released on PS3 and PC exactly 30-days after it was released on Xbox 360.
Anyway, people are freaking out about this, but do remember that they've no said it isn't coming for PS3 and PC, just that they haven't announced it yet.
I'd be shocked if it didn't come for both platforms.
Heh, a troll that actually went to the effort to make a full GrammarNazi account. You're quite correct, I completely failed to spell those two words correctly. Kudos to you, sir.
However, you also failed at your self-appointed job. It's 'flavour' or 'flavor'.
Not the best written article in the world, but it got the point across.
I don't feel the Gears series feel stale yet, so provided that they make enough adjustements it should feel fine to me. The new class system in multiplayer, for example, has me interested. Likewise I'm hoping that People Can Fly bring a bit of their own falvour to the singleplayer.
Those franchises continue to make vast amounts of money, so there's no reason to allow them to die.
Also, Microsoft don't own Gears.
I've always had a rocky relationship with fighters: I've fallen in and out of love with them so many times over the years.
I had the same start as you and a lot of others: Street Fighter 2. Man that game had me hooked. I think my fondest memories come from Mortal Kombat, though: never as balanced as Street Fighter, but glorious fun regardless. Spent ages beating up friends on Mortal Kombat 3, and 4 as well, which I actually quite liked, though I know many hate it. T...
Indeed, the difference that people don't seem to understand is that increased aggression does not equal actual violence.
Videogames, depending on the game itself, obviously, can and do increase aggression for a short while, sort of like watching an action film does, but that doesn't equal violence.
In Short: naturally passive guy/gal + violent game = slight incresae in aggression.
Naturally violent person + violent games = douch...
Who would you lot like to handle the developement of a Firefly game and why?
Hehe, yeah, I know where you're coming from. The thing is, a lot of the same limitations that dev's deal with in this generation are still actually going to be present in the next gen as well. But yeah, they'll have more room to work with, and if we wanted at least a two or three year development cycle on the game then it would almost have to be a next-gen game.
As I said in the news article itself, I'd personally love to see CD Projekt work with Joss to bri...
That was pretty much what I was like when I was typing this news story up. Except for the PS4 bit. I was like, "Now, please"
As Sjaakiejj said, this is from an early build of the game.
As for the source, the guy making the video is a student who just got lucky and got a chance to play the game
I've been lucky enough to get one brief shot in the past few years as well.
That's why I got into games journalism, mate. Problem is the deeper I delve into the journalism industry, the more I dislike it and the more I find that just shouldn't exist.
Day 2: The real Chuck Norris buys the game and plays as Chuck Norris. The universe implodes.
It has potential, like almost any game, but there was also some gameplay footage leaked around a week ago that was......uh, bad? :D
Still, fingers crossed for something half-decent.
You're better of just downloading the Extended Cut ending anyway, mate, since it makes the games original ending a bit pointless to view, unless you're wanting to go and see what all the fuss was about, of course.
The headset is made by Tritton, a very well known and quite well respected company.
For example, I just had the pleasure of reviewing their new Ghost Recon headset that they sent in, and it was a nice piece of kit!
It's only the things made by Mad Catz themselves that have a bit of a bad reputation, althought they have made a few decent things over the years.
You're in luck, because it is coming out on the Xbox 360.
Say what you like, but I stoll hold that Nuts & Bolts was a massively overlooked title that got ignored by many of the modern gamers because it had "kiddy graphics". I spent many happy hours tinkering away on daft contraptions, like an aircraft carrier with launchable plane and the like.
Sure, it was a massive departure from the previous games, but it was a lot of fun provided you didn't sit there and mope that it wasn't a platformer anymore.

Check out the story to see that they're saying PCFs influence is more in how they prefer to create in-game stuff and highly replyable levels, while Epic went for a more cinematic and set-piece orientated style.
In short, it's still very much a Gears of War game, but there's less stopping for cutscenes and the new spawning system helps replay value.
I agree that they couldn't make major changes, but there is a lot though could have tweaked, like the often wonky physics or getting cought on objects etc.
Likewise the camera could have been tweaked a little.
I would have actually have liked them to put in custom skater option. Sure, it would have been a major change, but a good one I feel that nobody could have really complained about.
