First, thanks for the kind words on the review. Always appreciated ;)
A really good headset is, to me, one of the best purchases you can make if you love games. They might seem pricey, but considering how much you'll use 'em they'll quickly prove their worth.
And the first time you play a game with them on, it's just a "wow" moment :D
To be honest, this is one of the only times I've actually see a negative reaction toward the game. Every other time people have been screaming its name from the top of hills :D
I believe that contained with the cube will be a diamond chisel.
Peter Molyneux, screwing with your mind because he damn well can! :D
The biggest concern now is that it'll become yet another victim on overhyping, where people just build it up so much in their minds that it just can't do anything but disapoint, even if it's a great game. Likewise the media seem to be building it massively.
Hopefully that won't be the case here.
*throws wallet in the general direction of Gearbox* gimme!
The improvements that Gearbox are making in Borderlands 2 have been near faultless thus far. I've not seen anything that's left me worried or disapointed.
My only grip at this point is that we've still not really gotten any solid information on the story so that we can see if that's been improved, but in all honesty, I didn't need a story in Borderlands. so I don't really n...
Who is willing to bet that when that final person breaks open the black cube to reveal its contents, it'll be a diamond chisel?

A few tweets earlier between Epic and People Can Fly suggest that the rumours are correct and that PCF are indeed developing it.
As for the Gears of War franchise, it's been widely known for a long time that Gears of War 3 wouldn't be the last game set in the Gears universe.
Befor Baird and Cole joined Delta squad they were members of Alpha Squad. In the first game Cole and Baird become members of Dela squad after the rest of Alpha is killed.
What I'm getting at is that it seems likely that Judgement will follow Baird and Cole's story in Alpha squad, eventually explaining how the rest of Alpha got wiped out.
That would make Judgement a prequel to Gears of War.
Cole and Baird were members of Alpha Squad before joining up with Marcus and Dom in Delta Squad after the rest of Alpha got killed, so it seems pretty likely that the game will follow the story of Alpha squad, meaning it's a prequel to the first Gears of War game.
I've got this sitting on my shelf at the moment, waiting to be read. Had a quick flick through the book and it looks fairly interesting.
We've also got to take into account, though, that Future Soldier is a new sub-series in the Ghost Recon franchise, and ergo doesn't have to follow the same gameplay styles as the previous games. It's not a sequel to GRAW in the true sense, nor to any of the other Ghost Recongames. As the review says, this is a new beast. The fact that it has Ghost Recon is simply because it's set in the same universe.
It's sort of like Halo Wars. It might have the Halo n...
Sadly review scores are used because publishers love them, and so to keep publishers happy the sites use them.
I still use scores on my own site because I do believe there's a place for them in the industry, but I also think it's entirely wrong that publishers often won't talk to sites that don't use a scoring system.
It's a bit like how a Metacritic score can now have massive impacts on the industry.
Thank you, good sir. I like to try and spark conversations when I can, preferably while avoiding the usual insults and mayhem that comes with chatting on the internet :D
I found Iorveth to be a very interesting character, and one that had surprising depth! Plus, he references Lord of the Rings. WIN! :D
SPOILERS AGaIN!
I do like the fact that if you choose the Elves or the Bluestripes it pretty much changes the entire middle of the game!...
Given that Rockstar have already said this is a new era and no old characters would be returning, it seems unlikely that this is a correct list, however, it is possible.
I have to admit that have CJ's son in their would be freakin' awesome.
Out of curiosity. which choices did you guys make? Who did you side with, etc. during your game? Obviously, please do remember to whack in a spoiler warning :D
SPOILER WARNINGS!
I took Iorveth along with me, because Roche was a bit of a douche -_- and didn't chase down the town mayor because I wanted to save the innocents.
In closing hours of the game I chose to help Triss whilst I was in the dungeon rather than escort what's he...
Well, I can at least confirm that Xbox 360 players have no mandatory install. It only recommends that you when you start the game up, which is advisable to be honest as the load times are a tad on the slow side.
As others have said, all the LEGO games have zero voice acting. It's a very deliberate choice on the developers behalf. Watching those little LEGO buggers trying to recreated famous movie scenes with hand gestures, expressions and mayhem is awesome! :D
The Connect Four film may be the most immersive, dramatic, beautifully realised work of genius we've ever seen!
Oh, and that was sarcasm :P
I think this change to a near-future setting is a good one for the aeries as it opens up more options that the developers will hopefully utilise to make this Call of Duty feel fresh and fun.
Fingers crossed.
Agreed, for the money you can't go wrong with 'em.
Still, for me the lack of eq options or ability to adjust the audio performance in anyway was a major flaw.I like to be able to tweak my bass, treble, etc :)
