Overall I had fun with NeverDead, but I found that they never really use the dismemberment concept to its full portential. Looking forward to getting a bit more co-op action in, though.
Provided she delivers a solid performance I've got no problems with it. Should IGN be doing their job properly it should not have an impact on the final score, but that's in a perfect world and we all know this world isn't perfect
I've been playing NeverDead for over a week now and personally I believe 4/10 to be pretty harsh. It's far from perfect, but it's still a fairly enjoyable title, if one that doesn't make full use of it's own ideas. Worthy of a purchase if you can find it on sale 20-25 quid.
I think this article is a mess, to be honest.
But to answer your question of what I think about the Xbox 360 coming to the end of its lifespan, I don't think it's quite there yet. This year is set to deliver a pretty solid line-up of games, and I'm confident we'll still be seeing Xbox 360 games in 2013 and possibly even into 2014.
As for the coming of the next generation, I'm not looking forward to that. The technology inside the conso...
Out of curiosity, what sort of character builds do you think you guys will be going for? I think I'll be opting for mostly a mage, but with warriors elements. I just love using staffs :D
Mind you, sneaking around and stabbing people is also kinda fun....
Well, the retail version is more likely being aimed at gamers while aren't online and thus can't download it, but that's a pretty niche market nowadays.
There might be a few Xbox 360 gamers who simply really want the game, though I can't imagine there'd be that many.
As said the PC retail version has an RRP of around ten shiny pounds, so we can probably assume that the consoles versions would be around the same.
Yup, and now for some strange reason they're planning on releasing it as a retail title for PS3 as well. Or at least that seems to be what they're planning.
I assume it's supposed to be so non-online gamers can get their hands on it, but it's still strange :D
I can certainly see why the lack of focus would put some players off. It's arguably the biggest strenght and the biggest weakness of Skyrim.
For me though, it's what draws me to the game. I can go where I want, when I want and do what I want. On that note I'm to plunder someones house.
That would seem to make the most sense, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
God I loved that game! Hadn't thought about it in ages.
Anyway, I'm in agreement. The concept of game sounds fun and should be nice breath of fresh air in todays gaming market.
It's believed that the game will be in 2D, and the video shows some zombie looking things down on the road.
I can imagine you would be :D
Hopefully some of the game will be set in Vancouver, then. I would think it would be pretty sweet to play through a game and think, "damn, that looks familiar" :D
Join the club :D
I'm primarily looking forward to getting my hands on the level editor. Ah, many merry hours did I spend crafting pure insanity on Trials HD. Happy days :D
Deadlight is being developed by Tequila Works, mate.
Heh, lucky sod :D
I'm hoping to get in two blasts through the demo, but alas time always seems to be short :(
Ah well, that's what all-night sessions are for :D
I've finally got some spare time to myself and am away to fire up the demo as we speak. I've been looking forward to this for a while now and have been hoping that Alamur wouldn't disapoint. So far the reactions to the demo seems to be almost entirely positive, so if you'll excuse me I'm away to get lost in a fantasy world for 45-minutes.
Now that is one badass statue. The only thing I would perhaps mention is that I thought Ezio's clothes were a little too white. It looks incredibly bright, so I would have liked to have seen them dirtied up a little.
And now I'm going to have to go have a look at the price, which is probably terrifying.
Put it this way, I love my difficult games to the point where even Dark Souls struggled to keep me satisfied. Amy is a very easy game. It's things like poor hit detection, Amy not listening, inconsistant rules and more that make it "hard" to play.
That's just my view, but it's pretty much what I said in the review I had to write for it. You'll also note that the majority if comments aren't moaning about it being hard, in fact most of them are i...
Small correction: console users might get Diablo 3. :)
I loved Torchlight so it's a real shame that it's not coming to consoles as well. I need my looting fix, after all :D
