"The kit will automatically be granted when you sign into the Mass Effect multiplayer using the same Origin account linked to your BF3 Online Pass."
I would have thought that because you've got a BF3 Online Pass linked to your Origin account you'll still get the pack on PS3. Don't hold me to that, though, as I could be wrong.
Warning: this review contains a detailed description of Batman: Arkham City's ending.
Well, yet another good score for the game, but a rather bad review.
until someone comes up with Vambies, a terrible hybrid of vampire and zombie.
Aye, if it had some vampire based missions then I'd be up for it without a doubt, but for just one ability and some rather pointless perls (assuming you've finished up the game) it's just not worth it.
I'd have also like to seen the vampire concept get a little more fleshed out. Instead of just having a single ability, lets have an actual vampire pack with quite a few neat tricks thrown in.
I'm pretty happy to see another solid score for Amalur, especially considering it's a new IP on the block trying to bash its way into the industry. That's a tough thing to do these days.
Aye, I can see the few remaining UK devs packing up and moving out now.
Bugger.
Thanks for the reply, sir, it's nice to talk to somone on here that doesn't throw a hissy-fit when someone posts a counter argument :)
To that I'd have to respond that while rage quitting can be classed as part of the culture, that doesn't mean it defines it, just like Achievements are part of the culture but do not define gaming or gamers as a whole. For example I am Scottish, and a kilt is part of my culture, but that does not truly define me nor the Scott...
I'd have to disagree to a point. Rage quitting, in my view, is not part of being a gamer as I know many people who've been gaming for years that have never rage quit.
It's arguably part of the culture and a common occurence, but I wouldn't call it a defining feature of a gamer, especially as this piece states that rage quitting is part of ever gamer. Really? :D
To me there is only one single thing that defines a gamer: a love of games.
Agreed. The general agreement seems to be that the Xbox 360 is the easier console to develope for, which is why it's the lead developement console for most titles. So it's logical to assume that Microsoft have done something right, something which other console manafacturers can learn from for the next generation.
Aye, once you're used to them again it's ok, but they never feel that great, even when you are.
The point I'm making, really, is that I just don't think MGS2 has aged well. Not ever classic old game does age well, and I'm certainly not taking anything away from the game, but now it just feels.....bad, if I'm going to be honest.
I'm playing through the collection at the moment, and so far I'd have to say that despite it being a game I loved when it was originally released MGS2 hasn't aged well. At the moment playing it feels more like a chore thanks to clumsy feeling controls and awkward moments. And damn, those bloody camera angles are terrible :D
Here's hoping I find MGS3 has aged a little better.
But then, that's the problem when old games get re-released:...
They've got a few such as Dexter and Johnny Bravo in there. Are you perhaps thinking of the portable version of the game? The console version, with XL in the title, came with another 8 characters.
Still, I know what you mean.
Thank you for your kind words, sir. I undertake this joureny not for myself, but for all of humanity!
But mostly for myself.
It's a revisit of the original Mass Effect, yet the header image is from Mass Effect 3 and the article itself has only two pictures, one of which is from Mass Effect 2. Ah well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad :D
I have the strangest urge to go and attempt this Achievements now, despite the fact the article informed me that some of them can't actually be obtained.
I WILL FIND A WAY!
Don't get me wrong, I do like some of his stuff and I occasionally watch a review. I guess maybe I just find that it always feels a bit too put-on, rather than a natural extension of his own character :)
Mind you, the beginning to this vid was damn good :D
Have to admit I just never saw the appeal. The guy gives me a headache :D
3.5/10? Damn, that be harsh. There are a lot of flaws to be found within the game, but in my view nothing to warrant score which, to me, would usually be awarded to games that have some really serious technical problems that can hamper progression or something, which as far as I'm away NeverDead does not have.
Personally I awarded the game a 7/10, feeling that while it certainkly had flaws there was a rough charm to it that I enjoyed and that it would be a worthy purcha...
I certainly want Collectors Editions as I've been picking them up for years now. But I havr to admit that lately I feel the quality of the Collectors Editions have dropped somewhat while the price has gone up. Take the Skyrim CE: I was going to buy it but sadly money was short and I had a review copy coming anyway. On launch day a friend brought rough his CE of the game and I was shocked that the wall was cheap-ass plastic, and Alduin wasn't a whole lot better. The art-book was amazin...
It is a pretty nice bonus for those that have bought Battlefield, though I wouldn't be surprised if it turned up as regular old DLC later on, which would be a real shame.
