Thinking back how the cover spots were in the bigger fights, that would not work any better at all. In most of the places your enemies we're trying to flank you and in some cases were already coming at you from multiple directions right from the start. This forced you to stay in cover and as soon as you pressed circle to get out of cover, you would get multiple hits even though you're behind cover for some enemies. Shortly put, the covers were very small, and any sort of meleeing in t...
I can imagine a whole lot more than what's already been done. If those things are possible on current gen consoles or not is a completely different question though.
Graphically there's still a lot to improve on. Starting with the obvious ones, 1080p, 60fps, AA. Then there's the endless list of other details that can be improved; shadows, animations, textures, number and detail of objects on screen, draw distance, physics, weather effects, destructive environment, ...
Still waiting eagerly for the day when they decide to release a new WWE game every 2 years instead of 1. They could do some serious improvements if they took that extra year to finish things up.
How hard is it really to make lists like this not span over 10 different pages?
And who exactly said that PS3 and Xbox 360 shouldn't have been even in the same league? It's never been anyone else but fan(boy)s who've said that. So I don't see how that means that PS3 selling at a faster rate world wide doesn't matter.
Other than that, I agree. If Sony had released earlier, had a cheaper console, more exclusives and better multi platform games and better marketing from the start, the PS3 would've destroyed Xbox 360.
Why would any serious gamer buy a gaming laptop anyway? Buy the parts separately and build it yourself and you get a better product for a lot smaller price. And the best thing is that you can upgrade it part by part.
Too bad for Razer though. Someone will probably buy it and leak some unannounced details if it's sold. Or then the thieves just really wanted a gaming laptop.
Should you tell other people what to play? No.
Worst video game music in a while... Horrible...
Not released in Europe until February. But fortunately PS3 is region free. :)
"We can also confirm that the PS3 version of WWE ’12 comes with a huge mandatory installation of 4GB. Previous games in the series was only 3GB big."
1GB bigger than previous = huge? Mandatory installs on PS3 are so common nowadays that I don't even see any point in posting "news" of game X having install size of Y. Unless the install size actually is very big, which 4GB is not.
"Movement mechanics in UC has always been twitchy and camera angles during gameplay can sometimes be very awkward. Naughty Dog did not address these problems, so Nathan had to run around circles to get from point A to B quite frequently. Frequent enough to frustrate."
I never experienced such problems, Drake always went where I wanted him to go without any problems.
"So for example I'm taking cover and an enemy rushes me. At close range I h...

Looks like you don't like the idea of someone liking Uncharted 3 more than Skyrim. Uncharted 3 is my personal GOTY, but I don't have a problem with anyone who prefers Skyrim over Uncharted 3 and I don't even care because I have my opinions and others have theirs. To each his own. You on the other hand seem to be the one who has a problem if someone thinks Uncharted 3 is GOTY. News flash, they have every right to think and say so.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
On many occasions I would give lesser scores to most games than many reviewers out there. Each generation has only a few games that deserve a 10 in my opinion.
Well you just answered that question yourself in your other post. "No game stays on top forever, and Call of duty will fade away eventually." And that's what I was saying too. At some point they're going to have to do something else and improve over their previous iterations or fade away. Improving and extending over what you already have are the best ways to extend a franchises success streak.
I think it's time for CoD to change the formula. Sure it works and a LOT of people like it, but nothing goes on forever and at some point they absolutely have to do something new. New to CoD, they don't need to re-invent the wheel. How about some vehicles and destructive environments? Or Future Warfare perhaps?
Exactly. And the answer to that question is yes, they are still relevant. They're not visually stunning like todays AAA games, but their beauty lies elsewhere in design, atmosphere, simplistic gameplay and a different way to tell a story.
-- SPOILER WARNING!!! --
Umm, where we're you when Sully and Drake spoke about Drake's parents? How about that part when Marlowe almost made Drake believe that Sully had abandoned him in tight spot? Did you miss the comment of Drake going to jail in the age of 15 when he was doing whatever it was in Peru with Sully? There's a lot of little things like this that actually give you a LOT of information. Also there was a shroud of mystery around Marlowe because of the...
And I am losing all faith in gaming journalism. Another (f)lame article with flawed logic, zero substance and no basis on reality whatsoever. And the worst part, this is the hottest thing on N4G atm.
Just shoot at the very "root" of the laser beam.
Uncharted 3 would've been a great addition to the line up of Move-supported games.
