And what would that do to truly mobile gaming? Would you want to carry a DualShock 3 around to control your Vita?
I hope they bring it back to the 80's and give us back LOVE FIST! Don't really mind the setting as long as it's not in Liberty City anymore. IMO San Andreas had the setting, weather and landscape just right. 3 cities of different styles, a bunch of small villages, mountains, hills, deserts, beaches, ocean, rivers and weather ranging from a sunny summer day to dark storms. It was just perfect.
Imagine if they actually made the area so big, that to the north the wea...
Good, because he's lame.
"recent news of PSN users being hacked once again, could this be a simple patch to protect PSN users further?" What news of PSN users being hacked? Someone had a long list of passwords and account names stolen from somewhere else, and tried them on PSN. Get your facts straight. Also if it would be a security update, it would most certainly be mandatory.
SMH for bad journalism and lack of logic.
If there indeed is the possibility of spoilers already, I will be avoiding everything Uncharted related until I've played the game from now on. This is an experience which I will not allow to be ruined. Heck, I feel like locking myself in and staying out of internet altogether right now.
On a more serious note: I have lot's of respect for sites/magazines which give a score of 10 very rarely. Because 10 is a perfect score, and I've yet to see a perfect game.
Couldn't agree with you more. The SGS2 is a beast and the few games I enjoy on it will have to do until I buy Vita. Aside from Angry Birds I only play games like Sudoku, Mine Sweeper and other brain challenging games on it regularly, and I can't wait to have FF X, Uncharted, Resistance etc in my pocket. :)
It will be nothing different from previous mobile gaming experiences. It's not even nothing special hardware-wise, being on par with SGS2 and there are a few more powerful android phones coming out later this year or early next year already.
That's definitely a better approach than playing to collect trophies. I personally first enjoy the game as much as I feel like, and then check what trophies there are and depending on how I liked the game and how good or reasonable the trophies are, I'll go for a few more trophies or the platinum. That way I think I'm getting the best of both worlds.
I see where you're coming from, and I partially agree. But I don't think there's too much weight on that feature. Naturally it's getting more promotion and talk about it, because it's a new feature and I'm confident that Vita won't fail us with it's exclusive line up of innovative games that utilize it's unique variety of different ways to control the games.
Let's hope so! I want Lesnar back to WWE. He had the power, the agility and the matt-wrestling skills to compete with anyone in the WWE. He was quite lacking in mic skills though, don't know if that has changed since he left WWE.
I've enjoyed both of them while playing at my friends house. They're both great games and both do something better than the other and they both look great. If someone really thinks either one of them looks ugly, they're total fanboys or have unrealistic expectations for a video game. Stop fighting and go play them instead.
Of course Vita will have exclusive games. They've already announced quite a bunch of them. And even if some games are more enjoyable played in your living room from a big tv, Vita having almost as good experience as that on the go is a good thing if you ask me. Also you seem to be ignoring that many games will allow you to play it on the PS3, save and continue from that save on the Vita when you're not at home. That's an awesome feature to have.
Agreed. I loved how transforming the cards allowed you to get Lionheart on the first disc and get powerful magics for your junctions early on.
Agreed. Someone can very well love a game and have a say without having the platinum trophy for it. A fresh example of this is ICO & SotC Collection, both of them have one trophy in particular that is not an easy task. Finishing ICO in less than 2 hours is a daunting task, though it's possible to complete with nearly 30 minutes on the clock left. But even without acquiring the trophy for this brutal speed run, a person can love the game and appreciate it to it's fullest for what i...
Well that's lame, European gamers get shunned again.
Don't care on MP that much, let's hope they don't drop the ball with SP by concentrating and wasting resources on MP too much.
Nice score for Ratchet & Clank.
Well, it's a spiritual successor to ICO and SotC, but The Last Guardian seems like it will be something unique. And I don't throw that word around a lot, I really mean unique.
Good to know 343 seems to have their act together. Reach wasn't quite as fun as Halo 3 was IMO.
This is a useful method too. May seem a little complex at first, but once you get used to it, there's no going back.
1. Create a string of random letters and numbers, let's call this a base password.
go4Wka1g8E
2. Create a code of 3-5 letters or numbers from the name/title/site of whatever that password is for. Think of certain rules to follow when doing this, so that if you don't remember the code, you can follow the rules and ge...
While that device would be awesome, we're just not there yet. And even if we could make such a product, it would cost a LOT. And still that would be only one model that could barely compete with Vita and 3DS controls-wise. How about all the other phones out there, that only have a touch-screen?
These ideas and illusions you guys come up with sound good on paper, but as soon as you start thinking about the practical stuff such as is it realistic, how much will it cost, wha...
