I have a 32 inch HD-Ready LCD tv. I'll settle with that until it breaks, then I'll buy one of those fancy LED tvs.
SMH at people who play games they don't enjoy just to get a shiny new plat. I'm not saying that someone can't enjoy these games, but we all know those creatures that eat trophies for breakfast.
Your lack of rational and logical thinking has left me speechless.
@Dmarc
First off I never said it was a walk in the park. I didn't even say it's happening. All I was trying to say is that I'm worried that this could possibly spread to other titles little by little too.
"LIFE ISNT FAIR get over it."
Oh, and here I was thinking that this comment section was for sharing thoughts and opinions, silly me..
That formula won't work forever. People said the same thing with Guitar Hero too when I asked why on earth are they buying the same game AGAIN?
Thanks for clearing that up.
Completely agree with you, I hope they make it possible.
Bubs for helpful.
The headline suggests that they rake in more money than Sony and Nintendo, the story is talking about Sony and Nintendos handhelds only. Begging for hits much?
And checking out the sources blog, they're clearly a bunch of smartphone fanboys who are comparing apples to oranges (no pun intended) and can't understand the differences between a mobile phone game and Vita game. All they see are sales numbers and are now dooming 3DS and Vita to the darkest depths of hell.
We've been doing that for ages already, ever since GTA3 at least comes to mind immediately. And are you saying that killing women is less moral than killing men?
Wasn't it already confirmed that all PS1 and PS2 content on PSN is playable on Vita too? I remember reading something like that in a Vita FAQ from Sony.
FF XII had pretty good voice acting too. The voices fit the characters spot on. It also had great music.
I'd also like to mention Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver from PS1, that game had awesome voice acting for it's time.
@ArmrdChaos
You're forgetting a huge key difference between games like CoD and sports games. First of all, just how much can a sports game evolve and improve? Madden games have been around for over 20 years now. How much room do they have to change when they can't go beyond the boundaries of the sport itself?
Secondly, the sports games at least offer gamers an updated roster and a few new things here and there added to a working formula, and I suppose...
But the question is, after seeing this done 5 times in a row within 5 years already, is it still very playable? Sure it works, but do we really want to support this kind of game development that lacks innovation and improvements but still manages to destroy the competition when it comes to sales year after year?
The depressing part that CoD is the last series ever to deserve this.
I don't want this kind of business model to be encouraged. Every time a new CoD is released while giving the gamer so little new but still makes such big bucks, some other devs are tempted to do this too. It's all about the money nowadays, there's no denying it. And CoD makes a huge profit with much less effort from the devs compared to others while still having much less to give for the gamers ...
Really now? Sports games aside, how many other game series have released 5 games in 5 years with such small amount of changes and improvements and 50€ worth of DLC for each game? NONE.
I don't hate the game or the players, I hate the fact that this kind of game is the top dog when it comes to sales figures. It hurts to see all those brain-washed zombies buying these games plus 50€ DLCs every single year, when these games don't deserve it any more for what it is. Give those sales to games that give us something new and even try to improve upon their previous iterations.
I don't want this kind of business model to be encouraged. Every time a new C...
The biggest issue with FFXIII for me was that not only did you lose control of where you went, you also had very little control over what the other two team mates did in battle. Also the weapon upgrade system and crystarium we're linear as hell too. After the awesome FF XII with it's difference ways of doing stuff this was the biggest flaw with FF XIII. Aside from linearity and lack of different things to do, the game was pretty good.
It shouldn't have been let past the bulls#!t filter this time either.
The GTA V protagonist is Jack Thompson who lost his mind in the employment line and is now taking over the hottest business in SA, the hot dog business. The main villain is a marshallow-mutant who listens to dubstep and wants to destroy the hot dog business with the all new hot nyan-cats!
I'm the president of Slobodania and my spy pidgeons leaked this information to me. If this arti...
And the reason why Grand Theft Auto can't be different from super hero or assassin games is? Yeah, thought so, you don't have a proper reason for that.
Cars are a very important part of what GTA itself is, and a GTA without cars wouldn't be a GTA. And sometimes I want to just drive around trying to destroy everything in sight including my car and protagonist, find the craziest places to jump from, mow down as many pedestrians as possible or just cruise around for ...
It's a secret message. The new Xbox will be "Lent Poo".

Yeah right, don't see that happening. The source isn't exactly trustful either.
I personally want to try to get a platinum from games I liked a lot. Also I don't even think about the trophies until I've beat the game at least once. After that I'll go for the plat or get a few more trophies that seem like fun or otherwise interesting. That way I can fully enjoy all games and it also adds to the games replay value.
