To be honest, MGR: Revengeance probably won't be anywhere close to MGS 1, 3, 4 or PW but I'm looking forward to it anyway. We haven't had too many hack 'n' slash games this gen, and considering that Kojima has at least something to do with it gives me a reason to believe that this game will be a solid game. (No pun intended, seriously.)

I completely agree with BulletToothtony and I believe neither of us are holding out against buying an Xbox360 because it's on "another console". I would get a Xbox360 ASAP if my financial situation allowed it, but at the moment I have a lot of far more important money sinks and will have to settle with one console for now.

The last 2 are the only ones I agree with. The third complaint has a good explanation and I can see where he's coming from, but I didn't stop to think about it, I whipped out my gun and sent them back to where they came from.
The amount of enemies wasn't even too bad IMO, the game had it's share of tough spots but that didn't stop me from beating the game on crushing.
The Last Guardian & GTA5 are what I'm anticipating the most.
Good news. Let's hope other devs take notice and we'll start seeing some more of the top tier PS Move games designed specifically for Move.

They're not ignoring the casual gamers. We've already seen quite a lot of interesting casual games for Vita. What they're doing is giving us possibility of having both casual and hardcore gaming experiences on the go. There will be casual gamers owning the Vita too, though it's impossible to say how many will stick to (or even have) a smartphone and how many will go for Vita or 3DS.

I only saw it once, but I think they mostly showed "finishers" and cut most of the real gameplay to make it more trailer-like and streamlined. And perhaps there will be difficulty settings.
Enormous price tag for a handheld? I think it's very affordable considering the specs and future games.

Exactly. A healthy small dose of hype is good, overhype is bad. I've learned to not overhype myself over anything and it's unbelievable how much more that makes me enjoy games. It's too bad that gaming journalism and a big portion of gamers don't realize that.
I had loads of fun with these games and they look beautiful. Easily in my top 5 game franchises of all time. I don't care if it has taken obvious inspirations from previous franchises, because if we use that as a measure of "greatness", we wouldn't have that many great games, now would we?
