You do know that Vita has and will be getting unique exclusive games that utilize Vitas unique features, right? Does games like Gravity Rush, Little Deviants, Alien Spidey, Escape Plan, Sound Shapes etc ring a bell? Why are you ignoring these games? Also what's so bad about having the best of both worlds? Hell, games like God of War, GTA, MGS, Persona etc were the main reason why I was interested in the PSP. And now that we will be getting even better experiences on the go thanks to dual ...
All of them are not GOTYs but most of them are of great quality. Maybe they're not your cup of tea but you can't deny that franchises and games like Uncharted, Killzone, Heavy Rain, LBP, MGS4, GoW3, Resistance, Infamous, GT5, R&C and many more are indeed games of good quality. Maybe not of your preference, but that is a subjective matter and has nothing to do with a games quality.
What about Europe? Are we left coughing in the dust AGAIN?
My favourite battle system by far was in XII. The gambit system combined with the very versatile character development enabled you to make any kind of team you wanted. The battle system in XIII was a very big disappointment after having complete freedom in XII.
Perhaps there's different teams working on both games and FFX HD just happens to have less work to do? I want FFv13 to release ASAP too, but wanted to point out that possibility.
Why do you hate Mario? Because you like Sackboy more? I like them both.
No King can rule forever.
Jokes aside, Mario is one of the biggest if not the biggest gaming icon and has a special place in most gamers' hearts.
The combat system has seen some kind of evolution. Compare the presentation of battles to the older FF games and you'll see that the characters are not standing around that much anymore, instead the screen is filled with all kinds of things happening at the same time.
Perhaps SE thought they should steer away from the standing in place while waiting for the bar to fill. For XIII that meant a very limited gameplay in terms of character control during battles and that was o...
I thought that was also a good thing in it's own way. Enemies coming at you even when you we're in cover forced you to change your cover spots quickly and that created some very intense moments especially on Crushing. I think that's better than picking enemies off one by one from behind cover, that kind of gameplay is boring as hell.
Here is an easy way to oppose ACTA in EU by contacting members of Euro Parliament via email.

Hope it's true, I want to recreate Radio X and K-DST from SA and use my own music in-game on the PS3 too.
Yellow? Wtf?! Blasphemy! It's supposed to be red and blue. -_-
Yeah, I haven't had high expectations for a RE game for a long time now.
@PimpDaddy,
How does Xbox360 selling well mean they haven't abandoned 1st party support on hardcore titles? Good sales and 1st party support on hardcore games are not dependent on each other. You're the one spinning things in this case. First of all, it's only natural that multiplatform games sell more than exclusives because they have double the install base. Second, it is a myth that PS3 exclusives don't sell, all of them don't sell 3 million week one, b...
@PimpDaddy, tell me, do you play games or do you play sales? When it comes to games the PS3 dominated the Xbox 360 this year. And don't give me any of that "exclusives don't matter because we have multiplatform games", because we all know that those exclusives are what really differentiates these consoles apart. Your comment only makes sense if you're a MS shareholder or a total fanboy, which one are you?
I consider myself a real "hardcore" gamer and I would be glad to grab a 3DS if Vita wouldn't be coming out or if I could afford both.
I can see the point behind your post, but everybody knows that things are not so black and white. There will be casuals who buy a Vita and there are hardcore gamers who have or will buy a 3DS.
You can't rule out any possible outcome at this point. The scales could tip on either handheld or it could be a pretty...
I finish almost all games I buy. I've had a PS3 for a year, bought almost 20 games and the only game I haven't completed is LBP, but that game is a sort of long time project for me and haven't abandoned it so it doesn't count.
Digital distribution is increasing but going all-cloud like OnLive is not going to happen anytime soon because a huge chunk of gamers don't have good enough connections. I don't know how well OnLive works but I believe having a physical or digital copy on your own console/pc is a much better and lag-free experience than streaming a whole game. Also if you are dependant on your internet connection to play, it would suck if for some reason your connection would be down. Add the fact tha...
Never been too interested in Far Cry 2, but might as well check it out, since I get it for free. :)
It's a decent game but doesn't compare to my favourites 7-10 & 12.
