True. The announcers kept saying that WWE '12 has the best graphics ever. Talk about false advertising.
I did, and while I liked it, it still doesn't guarantee I will enjoy the whole game. The improved combat system seemed good but I really don't know if it'll be enough for me in the end, because I hated the core elements of it in FF13, and despite the improvements those same elements I hated are still there.
Also about the story, many people say 13 had a crappy story, but I disagree. The story was good IMO, just the way it was told was crappy. Reading the details f...
"Controversy creates cash"
Though I'm not sure which is more controversial in this case, a good or a bad score.
Reply to edit above: But if a game sucks balls, isn't a good score controversial then?
I can't say how I really feel about this game until I've played it, so the question remains open (to me at least).
Only when it's not included on the disc at launch. GTA4 did DLC well IMO, DX:HR too. But stuff like skins or a few playable characters in fighting or wrestling games should't be DLC, unless it's free.
Iphone has LBP? No, but the Vita will get one.
That depends on how you play the games. There's a little completionist side of me and I usually do most of the stuff anyway just for the feeling of truly completing a game, so getting platinum is just a nice small bonus for doing what I usually enjoy doing.
I gave up on XIII platinum after 10 hours of grinding those damn Adamantortoises and had only 2 of the required 6 Trapezohedrons.
I wish more games would do something similar. Free DLC for those who get platinum would be sweet but probably won't happen.
You have time to run away from the enemies.
There's 4 possible reasons. $, €, £ or ¥. But which one is it? Now there's a question.
What? How does that make my argument invalid? Sorry, but I don't catch your drift here.
The basic gameplay is still very much the same in MGS, the changes are all logical improvements, that's a very bad comparison. IMO FF12 had an awesome battle and level up system. They should've taken the core elements of that and improved on it. Instead they made even battling and leveling up linear, not just the levels. There was an illusion of freedom in cha racter development but that was just an illusion. Even the weapon upgrades were linear because the only effective way to go wi...
I played Deus Ex a while back and saw the Final Fantasy XXVIII poster and thought to myself "more like FF XIII-XXVIII".
More like not in the mood to make anything the fans really want.
It's not the fans fault if a game keeps pushed further and further.
2-3? Really now? Killzone 3, inFamous 2, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, SOCOM 4, Yakuza 4, Motorstorm: Apocalypse.
That's 8. Though not all of them are in the very top tier of games, but I don't think any of them is bad either.
Good for you if you're content with multiplatform games. But you should consider that we have two consoles that share mostly almost identical multiplatform games for the majority of their game libraries. The other console gets multiple exclusive games every year and most of them are of very good quality and range across many different genres, while the other gets 1-3 exclusive games of similar quality but are not as diverse in genre and style. Which console do you think is more compelling...
It's a double edged sword. CGI looks better but requires more space. CGI also makes it possible to have any kind of scene without the limitations of the game engine. But downloading games seems to become more common these days and in the future so not using CGI has a major advantage in file size and download and install time. Also if next gen consoles still use DVD, most games will most likely have minimal CGI scenes.
"Quality and impact, not number of releases in a year."
Is it just me, or does this sound like they are not willing to take any risks with new things? So are you going to have your exclusive core experience revolve around those 3 big games you have?
"it will continue to be something that we focus on with new partners like Crytek and new people that aren’t announced yet."
So you will continue to throw your money around to g...
I've watched a couple of movies on my SGS2, which has a 4,3" screen. It's not that bad if there's no alternative.
The core elements of the battle system are still the same, but saying they didn't change it at all is a blatant lie. The demo proved it was improved. Using monsters in combat as allies is a breath of fresh air and the ability to change your leader during battle is a major improvement IMO, the lack of that possibility was one of my main complaints with XIII. Also you can now set each paradigm to focus on multiple opponents, a single opponent and there was a 3rd option too which I didn'...
