No, it's not. I'd take a remake of the 2 original Metal Gear games over this on any given day. Or a prequel that focuses on what happened with The Boss and Big Boss before the events of MGS3.
I'm not far from getting platinum from L.A. Noire and it's one of the most original and fresh games in a long while IMO. It's not the best game out there or everyone's cup of tea but for someone like me who's always enjoyed all kinds of detective stuff, this game is a very enjoyable experience.
If you enjoyed L.A. Noire, I'd recommend the Harry Bosch series' books by Michael Connelly. There's a lot of similarities and little things that reminde...
Funny how none of those things are gaming related.. Not saying it's a toy, because it isn't. The 3DS is finally seeing more great games coming for it and I think that's a lot more important than any of the things you mentioned.
Cloud gaming only is a ridiculous idea. Consoles can't just wave a magic wand and give all players the connection needed to play HD games OnLive style. Of course they will have physical media.
If I can afford more than one, then of course I'll get more. At the moment a combination of PS4 and PSV is the most plausible scenario for my next gen gaming but I'm open to other consoles too.
It does deserve some hate, but some comments do go a bit over the top. IMO it's not a good game, but I wouldn't say it's a completely bad game either. It falls somewhere in between where there's pretty much an equal amount of things I liked in it and things I hated.
Piracy & money. That's pretty much all the reason they have to make the Vita memory cards proprietary.

I see what you mean, but blowing up a reactor in a fantasy setting is pretty far from killing innocent civilians in a modern war game. That's what I was thinking when I said it's far fetched IMO, could've made that clear in my first post though.

Well based on what I've read here on N4G, yes it did. A lot of people simply refuse to buy FF13-2 because they didn't like FF13.
FF13 was a huge disappointment for me too but IMO it wasn't the piece of garbage some people say it is. I've kept my eyes open and am confident that this will be a lot better game than FF13 was. But I probably still won't buy this until the price comes down a bit.
AC platforming is better only because it's an open world game. Aside from that it's basically the same thing as UC. There's not any more skill or timing required. Also UC is a heavily story driven game and thus the difficulty and challenge of platforming is not even that important in this case. I'm not saying I wouldn't like a bit more challenge and choice in direction in UC games, but UC was never even supposed to give you the best platforming out there and thus whiney f...

You should consider the fact that Vita was released during a holiday month when all systems see a dramatic rise in sales. That takes away from the potential sales of a new device when most people will be spending a lot more money than usual across the board on other than gaming related things too.
I agree with you and I'm glad to see 3DS going strong for the sake of competition. I just pointed out the flaw in comparing 7 day sales to 2 day sales and saying the 7 day sales outsold the 2 day sales.
I'm not sure if it's a valid thing to say that 3DS outsold the Vita. That report has the 3DS sales from the whole week, while the Vita sales are only from 2 days because it was released on 17th.

I'm trying to understand why a Vita or 3DS sold in Japan is somehow less than if it was sold in Europe or America? I understand the fact that both of them are bigger markets, but that doesn't mean that a sale in Japan is somehow lesser than a sale in the western market.
