I couldn't stop laughing when he said that about PCs.. the guy knows next to nothing about hardware and games, so I guess flaimbait the only draw to the show?

Sorry, where does it say undetectable? Looking at the article, it says nothing about being undectectable, it even warns:
It is also advisable to apply all system updates before flashing with LT. All future console system updates (not game updates) must be applied with caution.

Buy it on Steam if that bothers you so much.

Wow, just... wow. You prove your ignorance with every statement you make.

Because I argued with you, I must be a ps3 fanboy.. or I actually have an idea of what I'm talking about.

And like I said, fog is just ONE (and basic at that) method of hiding draw distance. In that particular level, fog is used as a draw distance mask. It is common knowledge. Other levels that don't have fog, use another approach. If you actually read what I said, you wo...

From the gameplay I've seen, the game looks pretty linear to me.. it's no sandbox game (thankfully). I don't think that type of gameplay would be suitable for this kind of story driven game. It certainly has bigger areas than Heavy Rain, but Heavy Rain is supposed to be an interactive movie. I don't think having large areas to explore in that game would fit the style.

I'm going with better story in Heavy Rain, and better gameplay in Alan Wake.

@lowcarb

I'm guessing the first few times you said it everyone ignored you? I mean, I can understand why.. you say some pretty ridiculous things.

Please don't throw around technical terms as if you understand what is going on in the screenshots you've seen. You can spout things like draw distance, lighting, and detail but there is far more going on than those things. And those all change depending on the type of scene you're drawing.

So far I've seen a ...

And they aren't Iron Lore anymore, they're Crate Entertainment.

Yeah my 60GB launch ps3 is fine too. I've never had issues with the 360 either but my manufacturer's date is 2007, around the time they added HDMI ports to the 20GB models.

A friend of mine used to have issues with his PS2, disc read error I think it was. I don't know about the xbox or the gamecube dying, but I didn't really know anyone who owned those either.

You can pre-order the game already as well, to help the devs out so they don't have to sell their IP to a publisher. And they said it is possible that the key you get will be usable with steam.

Pre-ordered the Legendary Fan edition, it was a bit steep compared to the game alone but it's still less than a new PS3/360 game. Gives you access to the alpha and the beta, among other things. http://www.grimdawn.com/con......

The XMB is great, I wouldn't want to see any major changes. Well organized and intuitive.

They are not selling 360's for 10$... they are buying them back for 10$ kind of like how EB will buy your console for in-store credit.

Some of you hit the nail on the head: it's about software sales in the end. Also, there is a lot more to cost than just the hardware. Distribution, marketing, software upkeep, etc..

You can play Crysis on a PC that costs 600 or less.. you'll be able to handle this game on a PC that can do Crysis easily.

@Gamer71

Actually, the moron is you. They don't just apply an exchange rate, they add whatever amount they think won't discourage people from paying for the product. I don't care if you or any other chunk of concrete weren't deceived, its intentionally misleading and its a pathetic practice.

I'm not sure why you're defending them, as removing MS points and being able to pay the exact amount for things on XBL benefits EVERYONE. Maybe you like when they hold on to you...

5870d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

And any moron should realize they'll usually end up having an excess of MS points. MS points needs to be canned.

I haven't played any of them, I'm a bit confused by all the editions. Wondering if I should even play the first one, are the stories related?

So.. what happened to Persona 2? Never played the series but I'm willing to give it a try..

Yeah, I agree, that solidus guy is not all that bright. Why he argues against something that obviously benefits EVERY customer is beyond me.. Could you imagine if stores did this? You go to buy a pair of jeans for 30$ and they charge you 50. "We'll hold onto that other 20 for your next purchase here!", the cashier would say. Absolutely moronic.

The amounts you can buy points aren't designed so you can buy the exact amount of points you need. They are designed so you ove...

Yeah, character models look great and so do some of the props, but the environment needs a lot of work. I mean there was almost no vegetation, hardly saw any patches of grass, yet there was a bunch of areas where the ground was green.. c'mon Bungie, lets add a bit of life to these environments, yeah?

A lot of people ask "can this many people be wrong?" rhetorically. So thats what I got out of your post, and I replied with an answer to what i thought was a rhetorical question.

Yes, millions of people can be wrong, here is proof: http://www.moviesonline.ca/...

I'm not saying people are wrong for liking Halo, but millions of people is hardly proof :p
