How is the PS Move a "threat" to Nintendos handhelds? The article is clearly refering to their home consoles, of which Nintendo already know all too well "that not everyone stays top dog".
"Please understand that. Nintendo has NEVER lost money."
Who said they had? Also, I can't see Sony still being in the red by the end of the PS3s life, can you?

"But ultimately, it seems the message from Move is to warn Nintendo that not everyone stays top dog in games forever – a lesson Sony itself has learnt" - Quote from article.

I think Nintendo learned this before Sony.

That was painful to watch, he's like a 10 year old with ADHD.

Love the idea of using Move for fight night though.

Exactly!
Some sports games will work well with true 1:1 motion controls, for instance Boxing, tennis, baseball, cricket, golf, bowling etc. But motion controls become a gimmick when they try to use it just for the sake of using it.

Natal will not be over priced.

This guy must be getting so sick of being wrong all the time with his random predictions that he's decided to start stating the bleeding obvious instead.

The original playstation made gaming cool, at least in the way I interpret cool, that's when gaming started to grow up and wasn't just for the young kids.
I think if anything the Wii is in danger of making gaming UNCOOL, generally speaking the more mainstream something becomes the less cool it becomes.
You see it's what the kids do that determines what's cool and it's what their parents do that determines what isn't.

I don't really know what you mean by "cool" and I don't hang with the kids these days so I don't know what's in and what's not.

PC gaming has always been geeky though, but I didn't realise you were refering to PC gaming, when I hear 8-bit and 16-bit gaming I automatically assume nes, master system, snes and mega-drive.

As far as I'm aware kids have always been playing video games going back to the early 80s. However, the moment gaming became more older kid/...

He's kinda funny lookin!

I was around then, but I don't remember that.

Edit:
All the kids played video games back then regardless of geek stature. Personally I think video games are more geekier now than they've ever been because of the levels of depth to them. Not that I'm complaining, as I'm a bit geeky myself.

Perhaps people will laugh if Microsoft/ Nintendo injected even the slightest bit of humour into what they fire back with.
This video was genuinely funny, even the biggest Xbox/Wii fanboys/girls must at least of had a little chuckle whilst watching... surely!

I recently traded in MW2 at Gamestation (in UK) and got £30 off of BFBC2 (full price £39.99), now that's what I call a good deal especially considering I bought MW2 for £32 back in November.

All you guys have to stop giving EDGE all this attention, they must be loving it. This article has only been up for 3 hours and already there's over 100 comments, just ignore them and they'll go away.

PS this is the one and only time that I have commented on an EDGE related article.

Why will it be pricey? Natal is not in the same add-on category as the hard drives or wireless adaptors, so it will not have the same pricing strategy as them.
The arcade is cheap for advertising purposes to attract the niave customers like parents and young kids. The idea is to get as many consoles into as many homes as possible. It's not until they get the arcade home that they realise that to get the most from their console they need these pricey add-ons and that's where MS make th...

I can't see Natal being all that expensive. The PSeye is £25 here in the UK, I don't see Natal being much more expensive and surely not more than say £40, possibly £50-£60 if bundled with a Wii Play/ Sports type game.
The PSmove starter pack seems a bit expensive to me at $100, though.

EDIT:
I would like to see the PSmove + the nunchuck device to be sold together for the same price as the dualshock 3 (£35). As far as I understand the PSey...

I reckon the PSmove will be about the same price as a wiimote if $100/£70 = PSeye + PSmove + game.

I would assume the game will be a collection of mini games rather than a full game probably with a value of £15-£20 when sold separately. The PSeye costs £25 in UK. So from the £70 for the starter kit that means the value of the PSmove when bundled is around £25-£30 possibly £30-£35 when sold separately. But then theres the cost of the n...

Resident Evil 4 is considered to be one of the best games of the last generation. I had it for PS2 and it was indeed great, however not as great as the Wii edition.

The only downside to the wii edition of RE4 is that it was a bit too easy because of the speed and accuracy of the controls, that's an example of how motion controls can be better than a traditional controller. Who doesn't want extra speed and accuracy from their method of control?

I also don't agree with...

That price is not very good at all.

Lets brake it down:
In the UK the PS eye is £25.
The game will quite possibly be a wii play/ wii sports type set of mini games worth around £15-£20. I doubt very much that it will be a full game.
That leaves £25-£30 for the PSmove. That's the similar bundled value of the Wiimote. It will probably cost around £30-£35 when bought separatley, again similar to the Wiimote.

Then there...

Absolutely, The Pro Evo series on wii are my favourite football games to date and I've been playing football games religiously since Kick Off 2 and Sensible Soccer on the Amiga500.
