But none of them have been debunked yet, all we've heard is PR nonsense, I'll wait and see the evidence with my own eyes before I believe the hype.

Fanboyism will never end
"not as long as they're shitting in our shoes and we're pissing in their bovril" - Billy Connolly

Edit:
BTW, I'm not routing for fanboyism, just stating a fact.

The things that made me get rid of PES10 was the online STILL not being fixed and the ridiculous speed of some players, you can give the ball to Ronaldo then have him run straight up the wing with it and the opposing side won't stand a chance of catching him.

That's a little bit cheaper than Amazon.
Amazon is - Move: £29.99, Nav: £17.99 and RE5 Gold: £14.99.
I tend to order alot from Amazon and their delivery is quick so that's why I went with it.

I just preordered the Move controller, the nav controller and Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for £68.94 (including first class postage) from Amazon, if RE5 with Move is anywhere near as good as RE4 on Wii then I'd say it will be worth it.

I already own the PSeye, Heavy Rain, Hustle Kings, High Velocity Bowling and Flower so I'm pretty sure it will be worth the money. I also have LBP, is that being patched too?

Believe it or not - two of the three 360 owners I know use a 22" CRT TV, the other one plays it on his 19" Phillips CRT TV that I sold him 4 years ago. So, to an extent, Omega4 is right those small bedroom TVs he's talking about don't even support HD never mind 3D.

Considering small bedrooms are very limted in space I don't see your beloved Kinect being too big for gaming either.

This is also what they did with RE4 on Wii and it's the only thing I didn't like about those controls, you get used to it quickly enough, but it certainly is puzzling as to why they don't just use the trigger button as a trigger???

The only Metroid game I've played is Metroid Prime 3 on wii. That game set the standards for FPS controls on Wii.

We don't need another revolution, The Wii has already revolutionised, now it's time to evolve, that's how it works. Did the PS2, PS3, xbox, 360, gamecube exist for the wrong reasons? because none of them revolutionised.

"Sustaining technologies is about improving product performance. You hear what your customer wants and give it to them."

Why isn't the Move a sustaining innovation?

I think this article would be more relevant if the Move was aimed purely at casual gamers, like Kinect, but it isn't. With support for games like Resident Evil 5, Heavy Rain, Killzone 3, SOCOM 4, Little Big Planet 2 and The Fight: Lights out - it already has plenty of hardcore ap...

Calm down Morganfell, think you'll be losing a bubble for that little rant, I certainly voted you down one.

If that is truely what you meant by your initial comment then why make the comment at all? Whitto is hoping for Resistance 3 at GamesCom 2010 and Resistance 3 may get announced at GamesCom 2010.

Your comment:

"Insomniac stated their new PS3 title would be shown at PAX."

is therefore pointless.

I grew up with a joystick and never liked the original joypad controllers for the NES and Master System. Then I started to like joypad controllers when the SNES and Megadrive came out, I've prefered joypad controllers ever since.

My point is that this first generation of motion controls will either evolve and become better like the joypad controller did or they will be proven to be a fad and will dissappear for ever.

My guess is that they will evolve into...

I haven't seen any evidence of this either, I mean, how can it read facial expressions when it can't even track your fingers.

I also don't understand all the excitment about Kinect having voice recognition. Isn't this down to the software? and can't devs already do this using a headphone/mic?

I tried the Endwar demo and didn't like talking to my TV, it didn't make me feel anymore involved in the game, it just made me feel a bit daf...

"Much better deal for UK gamers"

The UK starter pack for £49.99 comes with a demo disc where as the US starter pack for $99.99 comes with Sports Champions. We're getting a better deal here in the UK compared to what we usually get but it's not any better than the USs deal.

Both Move and Kinect seem to have equal share of advertising where I live.
I have also found the same online, in fact in some cases more Move online. Tesco is one of the cheapest websites to preorder Move (Starter pack £44, Move £34, Nav £24) yet I haven't managed to find Kinect at all on the tesco website.

@Zir0
Asda has both Kinect and Move available for preorder.

Have you played Pro Evo on the Wii? IMO it's the best current gen football game so far. Konami need to look at using the Move on the PS3 version, it might help revive the Pro Evo franchise.

He didn't mention Move in his comment so why bring it up at all. You're coming across as a very bitter little fanboy.

"Kinect will consistently increase in sales once the Wii crowd starts talking about it, because is a little different. You'll see."

Why do you care so much about sales? Shouldn't you focus more on what kinect can offer you?

"but even so the device looks promising"

I'm interested to know what it is about kinect that makes it look promising to alot of gamers? Nothing about it has wowed me yet, I don't understand what I'm missing. What do you envisage Kinect will be able to do to benefit hardcore games that existing tech can't?
