Quite an honest and unbiased preview, I can't help feeling uninspired when seeing the likes of Move table tennis in action as well.
Table tennis has been done numerous times on the Wii, OK, I know the Move will be alot more accurate but why not apply that accuracy to at least a different racket sport like Squash (racket ball) or Badminton, in fact squash would be excellent for 2 players because nobody would be at the disadvantage of facing the wrong way whilst playing.

I remember reading the same about Pro Evo 10.
360 degree movement, online working perfectly etc
Didn't happen. Players still moved robotically in 8 directions and online was still unplayable.
The good previews for Pro Evo 10 were the reasons I took a chance on it after disliking Pro Evo 09, I won't be falling for that again - who am I kidding, I'll probably buy it day one, again.

I prefer most of the gameplay elements of Pro Evo to FIFA and I love the master league aswell, although I have enjoyed playing with St Johnstone in the SPL in FIFA10 this year and taking them to European Championship glory.
I owned both Pro Evo 09 and 10 on PS3 and both times traded them after a month for FIFA. The online is still not fixed and until it plays at least as well as FIFA online, I'll be sticking with FIFA.

Sounds like they're still playing catch up to FIFA, except for the edit stadium mode, which quite frankly sounds pointless.
It's a shame as I was such a Pro Evo fan in the PS2 days and throughout my Wii owning period.

Konami only need to do 2 things to get me back on side:
1. For gods sake fix the online
&
2. Implement Move to give the option to control like the Wii versions.
Unfortunately this preview mentions neither so lo...

I am excited about Move because:

A) I have owned a Wii and experienced the advantages of motion controls in core games like Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 3, Medal of Honour Heroes 2, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Pro Evolution Soccer, No More Heroes, Trauma Centre: Second Opinion and SSX Blur and had lots of fun, when in company, with great party games like Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, Mario & Sonic at the Olyimpics/ Winter Olympics etc.

Are you serious?
The only way a controller can compete with Move is with aim assist and even then my money would be on Move.
The fact that most TPS and FPS console games require aim assist only highlights the fact that controllers are not best suited to those types of games.

Edit:
In what way do you think a controller is more efficient than Move? The way you use a real gun is - you point then shoot, one of the many ways to use move is - to point then s...

"Sitting is not the key here as opposed to standing - Kinect can be used while sitting or standing."

Most of the games I have seen so far for kinect require you to stand.
Quote from article: "You'll need any Xbox 360 console, a Kinect sensor, Kinect games and 6 feet between you and your television for play space" Is the 6 feet space between you and your TV required so the camera can view your whole body when standing or just to give you room...

I sit between 6' and 9' away from my TV depending on what sofa I am viewing from.
However, as far as I'm aware you have to stand to play Kinect, so why did you bring up sitting.
I would have to push both my sofas to the back of my living room and move my coffee table every time before switching on Kinect - think I'll pass.

I too waited to buy the PS3, but you have to admit the original PS3s still have the best specs- Backwards compatability, 4 USB slots, media card readers.

Are you going to do the same with Kinect and wait till the price drops?
Are you saying that is what most people will do?
Does Kinect have the ability to weather a stormy initial 12-18 months before selling well like the PS3 did?

I'd say you are probably in the minority with that opinion. I played through RE4 on Wii and loved it, I put far more hours into the Wii version than I put into the PS2 version and by reading alot of comments on the internet regarding this subject this seems to be the general consensus.
The only gripe I would have with RE4 on Wii is that it was a bit too easy because it was the same game as it was last gen only with different controls. As the game was far easier on Wii I can only c...

"this is why i say wait until it has been released"

As far as I can tell the people you keep telling to wait and see are very negative towards Kinect whilst you, yourself, are so overwhelmingly positive about it.
With the mixed previews so far I suggest you follow your own advice and "wait until it has been released".

Edit:

2 x Move controllers = £69.98
1 x nav controller = £24.99
The Fight = £29.99
Sports Champions = £39.99
TOTAL = £164.95

That's what I think Move is costing me on day one, unless I'm missing something?

I don't know how bundles are priced in America but that's certainly not the way they are priced here in the UK.

I bought my PS3 bundled with 2 games (MGS4 and Call of Duty 4(Game of the year edition)) 2 years ago for £329.99. the individual prices were: PS3= £299.99, MGS4= £39.99, Call of Duty 4= £39.99- That's an individual total cost of £379.97.

My point is you never pay full price for games when they are bundled and the...

Good news, I love this game. I also loved the 9 ball pool on Wii Play so those two combined sounds just the ticket.

I loved Pro Evo on the PS2 and the Wii but since owning a PS3 it's had to be FIFA. Pro Evo online is just no where near good enough, 2010 was alot better than 2008 and 2009 but it was still unplayable IMO. Another minor niggle that puts me off of Pro Evo now a days is the name PES, it sounds shit and therefore I will always refer to it as the manlier sounding PRO EVO.

FIFA 10 and FIFA World Cup 2010 have been really good, especially online modes on FIFA World Cup 2010. <...

You're right there are always other options. However, I find it far easier to take my games that I am finished with to the store that I am going to be buying my new game from and doing a simple part exchange.

I'm in the UK. I usually get about £15-£25 when trading in a game to Game, Gamestation or HMV. A new game generally costs £40 here so when trading in a game that I have no more use for I get on average 50% off of a new game. If that wasn't an o...

There is a hell of alot of new games that I would never have purchased if I knew I wasn't able to trade them in when I was finished with them and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this.

That's new copies of games that would have never been sold if the used game industry didn't exist.

"The prblem I see with MOVE is that
it is being marketed incorrect to have success."

I just hope it's successful enough to continue getting decent support. I don't really care if it's as big as Wii or if it beats Kinect in sales. I just hope it works really well and has some good core games for it.

"Would you really want play KZ2 with a MOVE"?

Yes! Personally, I prefer the way FPS games control on Wii t...
