I got 2 Moves, a Nav, RE5 Gold and Sports Champions.
Sports Champions is fantastic. What a brilliant collection of games. Bocce (which I was in no way familiar with before playing it with Move) and Disc Golf are fantastic, especially in multiplayer. Table Tennis and the Gladiator game are amazingly responsive and therefore very engrossing. The Archery is great fun (particularily with 2 Moves) and even Beach Volleyball which is, IMO, the weakest of the bunch is still better than each ...

RE5 isn't worth getting for Move. From what I've played with the Move I would say The Shoot, Echochrome 2, Tumble and Hustle Kings are far superior to RE5 and all those games are enhanced when played with the Move as opposed to the DS3.
It cost me £29.99, that's the same price as a wiimote (without motion plus), I don't see how that's overpriced.

@nycredude:
I downloaded the patch for Hustle Kings last night. A word of warning though, ...

I've got to agree with you on some level bobdog626. Having played with Move myself I have my doubts aswell. However, that maybe software related as opposed to hardware.
I didn't find setting it up to be a problem, unless you're referring to calibration, but even that only takes a couple of seconds each time.

Ooops! double post

It's a good idea to pass on RE5 with Move, it's not what it could have been.

Is that US dollars? That's quite expensive, isn't it? In the UK it's been re-released and is retailing at £19.99 but some places are selling it at £14.99 that's about $24.

Yeah, that's the same as RE4 Wii edition. It's not ideal but it doesn't bother me that much. It's the rest of the Moves controls on RE5 that annoy me. It's so slow and clunky and if your in aim mode then move the left analogue stick to walk you find yourself looking at the sky, I certainly don't remember RE4 being like that on Wii.
I'm very dissapointed with RE5 Move edition it's no where near as good as could be.

Got mine yesterday. Tried RE5, Hustle Kings, High Velocity Bowling, Echochrome 2 demo, Racket Sports demo, Start the Party demo and The Shoot demo.

First, the bad:
I spent about an hour on Resident Evil 5 and I have to say that I am bitterly dissapointed. The controls are horrible, Why they couldn't just make it like RE4 Wii Edition is beyond me. I think it may be to do with not wanting to put Move users at an advantage over DS3 users when playing online, if it is...

I'd rather see Manhunt 3 myself. Never got to play Manhunt 2, all the censoring and what not put me off digging out my old PS2 and picking up a copy, but Manhunt is still my favourite Rockstar game - getting a head shot with a sniper rifle in Manhunt is still the best headshot in gaming IMO.

Have you not played the Wii?

Shooters work very well on Wii, especially RE4.

I think it would be alot better if they dumped the nav controller altogether and applied a slight redesign to the Move to include an analogue stick. Then you just use 2 Moves with all the motion sensors you'll ever need.
With the current design I need to buy 2 Moves and a Nav controller just to play the single player games I want. Very poor design on Sonys part.

I may pick up Bayonetta since I enjoyed God of War 3 so much more than I thought I would and it is very cheap now aswell.
As far as God of War 3 being purely a button masher, I don't agree. I found that I advanced through the first couple of hours of the game without having a clue what I was doing and just mashing away, but to complete the game I had to use my different powers and techniques that I had accumultated quite strategically to beat the various bosses etc.

Just in case you don't check edits.
I googled Steve Urkel and it turns out that he was actually born after me. I'm Scottish, we've never seen Family Matters here in the UK so that's why I don't get your patter.

I don't like hack and slash games but I have to agree God of War 3 is fricking amazing. If you only ever play one hack and slash game then make it God of War 3.

@ Steve Urkel - Did you dooo what? Seriously, I don't get it.

Edit: I also played the demos of Bayonetta, Dantes Inferno and God of War 3 and didn't like any of them because I don't like button mashing either. Then I got God of War 3 for my birthday and forced myself to play it. I ...

Yes but those PS3s were around double the cost of current PS3s. It means that the early adopters of the PS3 got their moneys worth. What did the early adopters of the 360 get? other than RROD.

@Steve Urkel - Did you do what?

The reason that new consoles are released every 6-7 years is advancements in technology not a "dried out market". The big profits are not made from hardware sales, they are made from software sales.

I think a new xbox and Wii COULD be announced next E3 but not because of their markets being "dried out" its because the technologies in their current systems are becoming very dated.

Yeah, but the controller is not great for alot of existing types of games. The whole time I spent creating levels on Little Big Planet I couldn't help but think that the wiimote would be great for this. Then there's shooters, any PC gamer will tell you that controllers are not best suited for them. Then there's RTS games aswell.

I didn't understand why they did this with RE4 Wii Edition and I'm just as stumped as to why they have stuck with it for RE5 Move Edition. The trigger should surely be to shoot, it's a no brainer.
The only thing I can think of is that it is either easier (or perhaps more comfortable) to press and hold the trigger button and fire with the top button than it is to press and hold the top button and fire with the trigger button, although if that's the case then surely they...

"Imagine a world where the only console exsisted was the Wiiper PS360."

That's a pretty crap world. No competition means bad news for consumers, you'd need more than 2 jobs to afford that console.
