"People like me had an absolute blast with it"
Had????
Novelty worn off already?
Yet most of the games seem to play the same.
I wouldn't go that far. Perhaps it would be more like comparing a renovated house with a before shot of the bathroom and an after shot of the kitchen.
RE5 plays far far better with the Move than it does with the DS3.
After spending a couple of days with Move on MAG, I found that the advantages it offers over the DS3 (quicker turning and aiming) outweighed the disadvantages (knifing and sniping).
I bought a Move at launch and I have been using it for over 90% of my PS3 gaming since then. I'm mainly playing RE5, MAG and Sports Champions.
I wonder what the gamers that have bought Kinect will be using it for 5-6 wee...
Forget about the scores for a minute and read the contents of the reviews coming from gaming and tech sites, also consider the fact that alot of them never gave a score.
There are alot of the same negatives that they are all picking up on - All the games play the same (or not at all, in some cases), alot of free space is required for even one person to play, lag is an issue, calibrating is a pain, lighting conditions matter and so does the clothes your wearing, the menus take double ...
WOW! Thats like the leap you would expect to see from PS3 to PS4.
What a tool. Why didn't he just pre-order it and pay for express delivery, that way he'd get it a day early.
Or perhaps only half as bad.
Gladiator Duel on Sports Champions is surprisingly good, I never had high hopes for it at all and bought the game mainly for Table Tennis, Disc Golf and Bocce. Having spent a fair bit of time on each game mode (apart from Volleyball) I'd say Gladiator Duel is my second favourite game after Table Tennis.
You can play it with just one Move but it is far better with two.
You have to be very strategic to get through the Gold opponents it's all about timed and controlled mo...
I have loved the fight night games over the years, but I didn't spend as much time on Round 4 as I had on previous titles. The make or break for me is that if we don't get Move support then I don't see the point.
FROM THE ARTICLE: "It will have a new single-player mode which promises to “break the mold of what is expected in a single-player sports game”."
Whatever, we're always promised a better single player experience but even the ...
"please can the 360 owners tell me if you agree with this? A price hike to pay to play online games you have BOUGHT on an online capable machine you already BOUGHT"... OVER A BROADBAND CONNECTION YOU ALREADY PAY YOUR ISP FOR?
Sorry MURKERR, couldn't resist finishing your question for you.
Sports champions is excellent, especially Table Tennis - it shows Moves real racket sport potential.
Played the demo of this and didn't like it, it's no better than Wii Tennis.
Kinect will be the new Wii balance board. It'll sell millions but barely get used.
How many of you had or has the balance board? I had it (got it for my birthday about 2 and a half years ago) I used it twice, almost as often as I used my Eyetoy for my PS2.
"Did the Wii end up in the bargain bin?"
It may aswell have, as far as most gamers are concerned. I used to have a Wii and although I did enjoy some games on it, they were few and far between IMO. I'm glad I sold it when I did, when it was still worth something.
"Revive
Mortally wounded players are revived with full health and a clip of ammo.
Revive+
Mortally wounded players are revived with higher maximum health, 2 clips of ammo and 1 explosive.
Revive++
Mortally wounded players are revived with higher maximum health and maximum ammunition and grenades."
I like this. I always like playing as Medic in online shooters, BFBC2 and MAG in particular. However, in Killzone 2 the Medic was a...
What was your friends experiences with these games? What did the experiences offer that made him/ her change his/ her views of kinect?
I haven't adapted to Heavy Rain yet with the Move. I tried it for an hour or so and there were moments where I was starting to think it was great but then other moments where it didn't feel right. I'm pretty sure I just need to spend more time with it. All my gaming time recently has been spent on MAG, another game that is great with Move.
But Kinect can just as easily be viewed as a better version of the Eyetoy. I found the Eyetoy was far more of a novelty than the Wii. The Wii has some genuinely great gaming experiences on offer, where as the Eyetoy didn't, it appeared to be very limited in its approach. Some Wii games had potential but failed because of inaccurate controls (Red Steel), some developers looked at implementing Wii controls in their games (Figh Night) but decided against it because it was not accurate enough...
I've never claimed to have used it, my comment was aimed at YOUR-MUM (not your mum, the guy that calls himself YOUR-MUM).
The comments were in regards to the reviews so far, which I have now read quite a few of and therefore feel qualified enough to discuss them. Neither of us were commenting on personal experience, just the reviews.
