For me it's
1. RE5
2. The Fight
3. MAG
4. Sports Champions
5. Hustle Kings
Still haven't tried Tumble.
Really looking forward to Killzone 3 and intrigued by Little Big Planet 2 and Sorcery.
You don't have a clue mate, this game is an absolute blast.
Try playing online with a few mates on the Go-karts, then come back and tell us that - "this is not a fun game".
I was in Game in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and same thing. Teenage staff with a huge 360 bias trying to get everybody to try kinect and going for the hard sell with anybody who showed the slightest interest.
@ Itchy18,
Agreed, I just don't think a demo in the traditional sense is needed, I far prefer the way PD have demoed the game over the years.
Do you really need another demo? We've been getting demos in one form or another for years - GT5 HD Concept, GT5 Prologue and the time trial lap from last chrismas.
"Reviews are opinions basically and you seem to have a different one"
Reviews should be more than just opinions. The reviewer should determine the target audience and explain why it is suited or not suited for it.
"Do you have any proof they only played the first few fights without building up any points?"
Uh, yeah! The words they use to form the sentences in their reviews are proof. This game is as 1:1 as you can get, no ...
@BrianB
Impressive! I'm surprised a little kiddy like yourself is familiar with a word like defecate, I would have expected a more basic term like poop or jobbie.
Just skimmed through this so-called review. Same ignorant crap as alot of others have written.
How much time did you spend on the training modes?
What was your best training mode scores?
What ratings are your fighters abilities?
What dirty moves did you unlock?
What boosters did you unlock?
How many fights did you nail?
Do you even know enough about the game to understand any of these questions?
Excellent review, I pretty much agree with everything in it. If only more reviewers took the time to learn the game before delivering their ignorant verdicts.
I've noticed you've commented quite a lot on articles/ reviews relating to this game, but until you've spent a decent amount of time playing it, you're comments and opinions mean nothing.
If you have 2 moves then I suggest you either give it a rent and see for your self or stop commenting.
Are you the guy from Dualshockers? Did you review The Fight for Dualshockers? I noticed you posted the review on N4G.
It seems you disagree with everybody who points out how unfairly reviewers are treating this game yet you haven't said anything yet that backs up the negative reviews. If you did review The Fight why don't you tell us all why it is so bad and why this review is so wrong.
Have you played it?
Have you spent a significant amount of time in the training modes to level up your fighter?
Have you played through many of the events and unlocked the dirty moves?
Have you nailed many fights?
If you have then I'm interested in hearing your reasons for leading you to think it's a trash game. If you haven't then I'd suggest you do before you comment.
The Fight is fantastic once you increase your fighters abilities through the training modes (I particularily love the Target Practice Training), my guess is that the reviewers just jumped straight into a fight, thought my character isn't punching when I'm punching etc and gave up thinking the game was broken, idiots.
Those idiot reviewers almost prevented me from buying this game, thankfully I had the customer/ user reviews to rely on as they are far more accurate.
The Fight is a great game but you have to spend a couple of hours in the training modes to increase your fighters abilities before fighting, it is only then that you realise how tight the controls are. If you just dive straight into a fight with no training you'll think the game is broken, which is obviously what alot of th...
I'm loving this game. It's not perfect by any means but it's alot better than these lazy reviews make out.
I'm addicted to the target practice training mode.
Edit: If there's anybody that's been put off getting this game because of the poor reception I suggest you read the user reviews on the likes of Amazon and Metacritic they are far more in depth and honest than these so called professional reviews.
I tried Kinect in a Game store last weekend, played it for about 30 minutes with a couple of members of staff. We played the river rafting game and the one where you are moving along on rails whilst ducking, jumping and leaning etc.
The problem I found was with two of us playing it felt a bit cramped, not because of the size of the store as there was plenty of space, it was because we had to stand to close together for the camera to see both of us and if I tried to move to the side a...
When calibrating the Move for MAG it tells you to sit comfortably at least THREE feet from the screen/ camera.
I didn't suggest that they were "returning them and complaining".
I suggested what he meant was they "returned to the stores they bought it from to complain" or perhaps just query.
"but nice try"
I think he's saying that these people returned to the stores they bought it from to complain, not that they were complaining about the set-up in the store.
"I don`t know these people so they could have just set it up wrong or something."
"Think before you post...or just don't post at all."
Pro Evolution Soccer has been my biggest dissapointment (not the Wii version though, it's the best current gen football game IMO).
The majority of my PS2 gaming was spent on Pro Evo. I have reluctantly switched to FIFA since owning a PS3 but this year has been the first year I have not bought a football game at release in 10 years.
