I used to really like OPM in the PS2 days and quite often their reviews influenced my purchases, for a couple of years I only bought games that they rated 8/10 or better.
That's all changed for me now though and I don't go by reviews at all.
OPM gave FIFA 11 10/10 and called it "footballing perfection" - That's just wrong.
"I think the 10 score is thrown around too much, people are aware that a 10/10 score is a game that has achieved absolute perfection? It should only come a handful of times per gen if you ask me."
I absolutely agree, this magazine gave FIFA 11 10/10 so that's how much their opinion matters.
I think the difference is the price.
PSeye - £22
Move - £30
Nav - £17
Against
Kinect - £120
Newton - ?
I think it's safe to say that single player Newton will cost more than double that of single player Move.
Played my 45mins trial and I was really starting to enjoy it just before my time ran out. Took me about 30 mins to work out what the hell was going on but in my last game I bought the shot gun and got 8 kills to 2 deaths, the best K/D I've had for any shooter. It works really well with the Move aswell. I'll buy it when I'm on my PS3 again tonight.
I've never played an MMO, are they worth the money? and why are they so expensive?
Edit:
Thanks for the response Dac2u.
Is this game really that good? I mean is it worth £34.99 to buy then £9.99 a month to play? I would hate to see this become the norm.
Yeah, for the duration of the fight then what?
As much as I want to see this fight happen, the debacle in trying to get it going only goes to show that boxing has alot of problems. For the first time in a long while we have the two best boxers in the world fighting at the same weight and both in their absolute prime yet it is looking more and more likely that we will never get to see them fight each other. There's something very wrong with that.

I agree with you NYC_Gamer, although the updates are generally every 2 years not every year. EA have not progressed the game in the right direction. The best update to Round 4 was the ability to get in close with your opponent (playing Round 3 now looks terrible with the invisible shields) but the inability to clinch and punch meant it didn't add as much as it could have.
@CBaoth
How did everything you list ruin boxing games? I can see how they have been detriment...
"Even though you can't access your account. The stuff you bought, are to an extend still yours."
But what Lirky is suggesting is that you can't access your account with the same PS3. Did these implications arise when microsoft banned modded consoles from xboxlive? Didn't they just ban the console and not the account?
@ sidar
I don't understand what part of Lirkys comment you're challenging. He said if Sony bricks your PS3 then you can't access your PSN account/ funds/ purchased items without using or buying another PS3, that sounds pretty logical to me. Unless you're suggesting that Sony can't brick your PS3 in the first place?
I'm finding BC2 Veitnam and MAG with Move the best ways to kill time before this beast releases.
UH??? I was commenting on Bigpappys comment:
"how well received they were by the actual Kinect buyers (unlike any Move game to date)"
Now allow me to re-word that comment in the way I understood it: No Move game has been well received by actual Move buyers.
I think you'll find that plenty of actual Move buyers rave about both those games, not just me. In fact the average user scores on alot of websites for Sports Champions, The ...
@Bigpappy
"how well received they were by the actual Kinect buyers (unlike any Move game to date)"
I'm an "actual" Move buyer and I love The Fight and Sports Champions, both far superior to the Kinect games I have played (Kinect adventures and Kinect Sports).
I also far prefer to use Move to play RE5 and MAG.
This whole console "war" is so silly. Surely the company that ends up making the most money from this generation will be the one that wins this generations "war" and I don't see how piracy will help.
@ Balt:
How have you still got 2 bubbles after all the crap you were posting yesterday and now this?
"A better analogy is perhaps making a master key of the bank and giving it to everybody."
How do you make the master key to the bank without breaking the law?
I absolutely agree and Rockstar can be good when not going down the sandbox route. My two favourite Rockstar games are not sandbox - Red Dead Revolver and Manhunt.
Do you play with friends using a headset? If so do you have issues with the voice chat not working or having so much interferrence that it is impossible to make out what anybody is saying? I've been playing against my brother and sister online regularly over the last few weeks and the voice chat has worked twice. Never had this problem with FIFA 10 although had slight issues with the World Cup game but it generally fixed itself around half way through the first game of each session.
FIFA 11 has been getting price reductions at several outlets here in the UK - it's £25 this week at ASDA, it was £19.99 at Gamestation just before Christmas and I remember seeing it going cheap for a while at Game and HMV - I'd say that's the reason it's holding on.
I got it for my Christmas and it is fricking awful. I love football games and especially playing online, which is why I have switched from PES to FIFA however, FIFA 11 is the worst online...
I prefer the gameplay and atmosphere of FIFA World Cup 2010 to FIFA 11.
I think the annual FIFA games have been on a downward spiral since FIFA 09. FIFA 10 was dull and FIFA 11 is just a little less dull. The online on 11 is the worst so far, constant pauses and disconnects and voice chat barely ever works.
The career mode is better but it could still be so much more.
I've been playing football games since Kick Off 2 on the Amiga 500 and football game...
