I don't care about the microtransactions, if someone wants to spend 5 bucks on skins for CoD all the power to them. What I feel really threw off CoD4 was the addition of DLC weapons and what truly sent me over the edge was that the Variety pack wasn't included AND they were charging more for it then it launched for.
With a remaster I expect to have the DLC packaged in the game, especially on a title that was 9 years old when the remaster came out. $40 dollars is a ...
Yeah the Super Nintendo wasn't better than the Genesis and the N64 wasn't more capable than the PS1 in some areas, and the Gamecube didn't nip at the Xbox's heels power wise. Nope. Nintendo has never made a powerful console...hey wait a minute you're that pleb again.
Titanfall 2 is a great game, I'm not really sure where the "flopped" thing is coming from. It was on sale around Christmas!? Holy shit, stop the presses a game went on discount around Christmas. Titanfall isn't BF, it's not CoD, it's not Fifa and it's not GTA. Expecting something like Titanfall to be a worldwide multi million copy seller on CoD or BF scale is...well it's something an idiot would expect.
Talks about bots in MMO's and equates that with "hacking". You so smart. No one gives a shit about that, awww someones auto fishing in my crappy MMO oh no. Bots in an MMO oh god the experience it's just ruined.
As for your 680, it gets out performed by a 1060 and sucks up almost double the energy to move half as fast add in that Sli is becoming less and less prevalent so the Sli profiles suck so you have two cards sucking same obscene amount of juice for a...
Certain things have made the Pro pretty disappointing since November. The Overwatch "patch". Persona 5's lack of support, Nier only got a bump from 900p to 1080p? Uncharted 4 added HDR and 1440p, yay? Planetside 2 has a Pro patch? Or does it? I don't know it still runs like shit on a Pro!
"The Pc has hackers!" schtick is getting kinda old, it's pretty uncommon. Sometimes you guys make it sound like you're going to find one on every server in every game when that just isn't the case. Just because someone shot you doesn't mean they're hacking and with the way interpolation and servers generally work maybe you weren't actually behind that wall on the servers end when you got shot.
"We don't like the term 'locked'. It would put us in first party territory where chest beating is more important than a great experience. We'll be 60 most of the time in normal racing and we'll push the consoles to and beyond their limits for more interesting racing. Even if that means dropping a few frames." Another post from your link
Dropping a few frames is far less of a big deal than "sub 60".
Weird, it sounds like what people were telling me when I get a Pro.
The Xbox is expensive for a console, 4K tv's if you aren't looking at OLED aren't super expensive, this isn't Apple Watch prices it's not unreasonable only for the rich and famous. Like you're presumably married, and this is how you spend your time? Shit talking a group of people excited for a new piece of hardware?
I'm really confused about his logic there, because the game ran at 900p with an uneven framerate then obviously they could never improve? I guess Bungie was working with black magic and satanic rituals to get Destiny to 1080p on the X1 after it launched at 900p.
Most of you console only guys were rolling with sub 720p until a few years ago and now we're going to split hairs over 1800p vs 2160p? Puh lease.
NO game has released with zero bugs, none. The modern "I'm so tired of these new things called patches, games should launch perfect" has to be one of the more annoying things to come up recently. I would agree that given Friday the 13ths state at launch it shouldn't have launched, but to say a game should be perfect at launch is not only ignorant it shows a real lack of understanding.
Sony always beat the OG Xbox on price, Sony had Madden sewn up on PS2 and don't roll your eyes at that Madden was the biggest thing on earth through 2000-2004. The Xbox was consistently more expensive, it didn't have even close to the same software support and a lot of the extra hardware was never used 3rd party titles rarely looked better on the Xbox even though it was far more powerful.
What does all of this say? Well it says 2001 was a different time. Remember 20...
So you're watching higher resolution images/video on your laptops 1280*768 screen, that's some real science you're doing /s, Maybe you don't notice things like aliasing, texture quality and lighting but I do. The improvements however subtle on the Pro are still generally immediately apparent,
It must be rough only having an allowance, but if you're really good this summer who knows what mom might get you for Christmas.
Except that's not a shot at the PS4, or the XB1. They're both based on hardware that's a few years old now, that's a fact. It's also not terribly convincing to start shouting "I'm not being defensive" when you very clearly are." only one console got mentioned and that CLEARLY bothers you.
