Just another comment, that didn't need to be written by someone who maybe needs to take a step back from all of this and evaluate how they spend their energy. Do you really think Link to the Past is the same as Breath of the Wild? Is Super Mario World really the same game as Odyssey? Why did anyone buy a PS4 at launch they had a perfectly good Killzone on the PS3.

I've never received a death threat and I've been on the internet since 1996. It's a little bit different when you've received over 1600 of them. What a childish, boorish thing to say. It's not acceptable for anyone to receive threats, it's all the more ridiculous when you receive them for a VIDEO GAME.

No, that's not how it works. The person talking about their backpack is clearly exaggerating, anyone willing to casually throw out "I'm going to kill/hurt you" over a game clearly has some screws loose. Reasonable, rational people do not operate this way and so any and all threats against a person deserve some kind of notice.
