When I launched MGS5 yesterday I had to look to make sure there wasn't a Pro setting in the menu I was missing, it looks blurry compared to games running at sub 4k with CB rendering. This is an Xcom 2/Nier Automata/Overwatch level upgrade and it's disappointing to see it happen again.

I'm a person who has no qualms with pointing out how terrible Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain are in places. The scene they showed at PGW has made me do a bit of a 180 on whether I'll be picking it up at launch or waiting for a price drop, the whole trailer really made the previous ones look almost comical in comparison.

I own a 1070 and a 4k TV, I can tell you from experience it's not running games at what I would call an acceptably smooth framerate or detail settings. That's also with an i7 7700k and 16gb of ram, which out performs the G4560 handily. Considering in 2013 people were shouting from the rooftops about 720p vs 900p or 900p vs 1080p, I wouldn't call this a small difference.
A PC that does 4k30 is much more money than an Xbox. 1080's alone in Canada are $700-$800 and a ti pushes the 1k mark.
To be fair, I have a 144hz monitor(no adaptive sync) and I can tell the difference between 60hz and 144hz. The game just looks that much smoother, 60hz looks stuttery in comparison when I flip between them.
It's not the most earth shattering difference but it's certainly there.
