Between this and the absolutely fucking ridiculous delay on from dust (2 days before the release date!? Really?) is making me really hate ubisoft lately. If they keep on treating pc gamers like crap then we're just gonna pirate the damn games and then we won't need a demo or a constant connection will we?

All your doing is making life harder for your actual customers and giving piraters a legitimate reason to keep on pirating.

The point is choice. Unskippable cutscenes are like the fucking antichrist. I intend on replaying this game and I sure as hell don't intend on watching 3 hours of cutscenes again and again and again.

It's a peculiar game. I did the exact same thing until I picked it up a year ago and got back into it and found myself in love with it.

It really taps into a "collector" mentality. If you played fallout 3 and found every god damn last unique gun and bobblehead then borderlands will push similar buttons but on a much grander scale.

If I have any tips it's do the God damned side quests. You want to be a good level or two above any enemies yo...

I wasn't disagreeing with the statement he made I was simply sharing my opinion on the subject as a whole.

If anyone understands the strength of art direction it's Id. They've always rendered strange and twisted visions of hell in the doom series.

I feel like art direction is more important. Photorealism is great but a lot of games waste it on a visual style that isn't particularly memorable.

Whether it's the fantasy setting of witcher 2, painkiller's insanely scaled levels, bulletstorms over the top environments, or just Far Cry 2's grounded but incredibly effective portrayal of Africa's setting. (I swear to God I play that game and I feel warm).

Thankfully though I feel like Rage...

I'd prefer not.

But I think that whenever a developer is split over a decision they should just give the players options. Options options options! I hate it when developers don't give the player bases options.

Something simple like if you choose a romantic encounter you're given a split decision as whether to enter a large chamber where the pair of you can be completely naked and in the process you see her face, or the more traditional way as see...

I'd rather just skip MP altogether and have greater focus on SP.

If they're desperate for MP release a horde mode or something but I kind of feel competitive multiplayer would be a bit pointless. If I want a competitive multiplayer experience there are about five thousand games I can think of that would do it better than bioware.

If I want an intense multiplayer experience I'll look for Dice, and when I want an awesome SP experience I'll loo...

It's not originally made for the PC. The elder scrolls games have always been fair to all platforms.

In fact skyrim was made for consoles and ported to PC. Bethesda have said so themselves, but they did it for oblivion too and to be fair they're more than happy to include day one mod tools and a fair amount of graphical optimization.

So yes this is big news actually, and no it's not common sense.

*spoiler alert!*

He doesn't like it.

This makes me excited to see it on PC.

By the time you throw in things like user made texture packs and addons we're gonna be looking at one gorgeous game.

And I'm glad because frankly the graphics of this game have so far been... okay. Although don't get me wrong I love the elder scrolls and I'm gonna love skyrim, I did kind of feel that it was a shame that due to the current console's desperately long life cycle the next elder scrolls w...

Bit late really :/

I've already uninstalled it off my hard drive. It was hardly a game that oozed replay value.

I think bit by bit games will open up their protagonists as they search for more varied and interesting experiences. Prey, for example, had a totally cool perspective on the whole native american thing.

But growing up in britain I'm pretty much used to western society just plucking whatever the hell they want from other peoples' cultures because it looked cool. Our national dish might as well be chinese takeaway.

I really like Arkane studios. I thought Dark Messiah was great fun even though I know a lot of people didn't enjoy it.

After their last game got cancelled I'd just figured they'd pretty much gone down the drain. It's nice to see that Bethesda have helped them up and are giving them a second chance.

To be fair lawyers are designed to get cash over things like this happening. A pedantic bastard who screws every one he can find out of every god damn penny he can get out of them for the most petty of legal infringements is a damn good lawyer.

Unfortunately he's also a walking PR disaster. Some multi-million corporation that deals on jewellry or oil isn't going to care because people who buy jewelry don't make online forums about it and pore over every action of ...

I'd rather if they took the budget and developer and made an original game in the vein of Rambo. As in an intense survival action game but if it's sticking to canon then we're more likely to get some generic fps carved neatly into the Rambo universe.

But if they've got an original idea and they think they can make it work in the rambo lore
then good luck to 'em.

Wow... that's a lot of star wars trilogies for George Lucas to rape.

I hope he's stocking up on Monster or Red bull or something cause he's gonna need his fluids.

Bethesda need to put their legal department on a leash. This case and the one against interplay (Yeah we'll sell you the rights to a fallout mmo but you can't use any element of the fallout franchise) makes them look like more like activision than the guys who go around buying companies like Arkane and Human head studios and giving them funding for new games.

There shouldn't have even needed to be a court case in the first place but at least it fell on our side of things.

It's not like Schwarzenegger made a career out of marketting cartoonish violence and action towards young males is it?

But he was probably too busy impregnating his house staff to think the law through properly.

Unreal feel to it eh?

Unreal was an incredible game. I've always considered it a massive shame that the singleplayer universe never got the full attention it deserved from epic.

Still though, I really like the look of this game. I do think the colour palette is a little dull in the environment though.

A lot of angsty blue.

They're probably gonna have some stupid fucking attempt at merging the xbox's and PC's community. But, because microsoft has the decision making prowess of an inbred peanut they will inevitably fuck it up, annoying both audiences at once.

Prediction - they're gonna attempt to pin PC gamers down with some sort of stupid fucking subscription. Whether it's to get cross platform play or to play 360 games on PC. PC gamers will spill their milkshake from laughi...
