Hard Disk Space: 25GB
What!? Fucking hell man 60fps comes at a price it seems. This game better be worth a twentieth of my hard drive.
Actually I'm half/half on deus ex (you can play any way you want providing it's stealth) and also it runs like shit, stutters like shit and has horrific mouse lag so if anything you've proven my point.
Great. So for me, an nvidia user, that basically throws decent performance out the window.
GO CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP. Whoop whoop! What a victory for capitalism when you only properly support half your consumer base.
Kick zombies.
Do sidequests.
Take zombies on 1 by 1
Loot chests.
Whoops there I went thinking this might actually be a useful video. Also I feel like pointing out the guy's voice in this video is about as charismatic as non-alcoholic beer. I feel like this guy's heart beat has never exceeded 50 bpm. He's quite possibly the only guy who might get a prescription for cocaine and speed from a doctor.
NO AND YOU'RE JUST WASTING YOUR GOD DAMN BREATH WRITING ABOUT IT.
No one has thought this since 2004 when some moron suggested it and everyone dived head first into the idea. PC gaming has NEVER been dying. The only thing that suggests its dying is the fact that people keep saying it's bloody dying. Steam has been kicking arse for God knows how many years and I'm tired of seeing articles commenting on PC gaming.
NOBODY THINKS THE GOD DAMN PLATFO...
This isn't really that big a blow to feminism in gaming as I originally thought. All I had to do was look at n4g's front page and see that the bulk of it was filled with call of duty and I realized, "oh wait, it doesn't matter whether you have a dick or not. Most people have awful awful AWFUL taste in games."
Although it's nice to see that whether your a girl or a guy you're still sucking on activisions meat sausage.
Ouch. This was a sorely needed drop of water to end the summer drought. It's a big shame Japan won't get to see it.
But I suppose if you really want to play the damn thing you could just pre-order it and then pirate it.
Well I certainly appreciate the attention they're putting into them. If you played borderlands 1 enough you learnt quite a bit about the manufacturers. It wasn't exactly in your face but the info is there and the intent to have the guns divided by manufacturer is also present. I think that intent got lost during its development and is seeing a massive revival for the sequel.
Thank you for the link though. I would have bloody killed for the chance to be at PAX to see ...
Liked the original and I'm hoping I'll like the sequel. In fact, I probably will like the sequel actually.
Loving the sound of improved AI and environments. I loved the original but it was hardly an engaging game. In fact without the gun system it would have been utterly forgettable. I just hope they include a huge array of unique and legendary guns to collect with all sorts of weird features. That was the real draw of borderlands for me, it was finding an incredibly ...
This game has had a really piss poor PC port. And at the end of the day that's what it is, a port. You've got to edit the bloody registry just to turn off mouse acceleration. The hacking system is incredibly clumsy when using a mouse, there's no easy way to compare X and Y values for mouse sensitivity, there's huge performance issues for a game that looks like it was made four years ago, massive stuttering problems, and a whole host of annoying little issues.

Hahahahaha! Oh my god are they fucking serious!? Jesus Christ I've actually burst out laughing in a cafe.
Firstly, is it me or did this whole topic get severely hijacked into a stupid console war? Who gives a crap whether you play an xbox or a pc, you still play games and you still enjoy them. Even if you magically win the argument and prove that your console is best it hardly means you've won at life. It literally gives you no personal merit whatsoever. You didn't make the damn thing so why are you proud? Proud that you went to the shop and bought something? Congratulations you've pr...
From a technical view this is mindblowing.
From an average player's view it's bizarrely complicated and unnecessary. But I guess nothing embodies the spirit of minecraft quite like bizarrely complicated and unnecessary constructions. (I have a floating fortress and a helix shaped sky scraper in my save... hardly necessary to my survival).
Notch should see this. I think he'd be proud with the things people can do with red stone.
I think the real issue at hand here is he seems to think BF3 is going to be a first for real "mature" gameplay. He talks almost as though all other mature games rely on gore. Not to mention "I think games need to grow up a bit" is pretty unfair considering games like deus ex, mass effect, witcher 2, portal, half life, limbo and braid have shown a load of maturity in their storylines whilst the last single player offering DICE gave us was bad company 2. Enough said.

Actually I was thinking more of crytek and lionhead when I wrote that.
Depressing to think it's so damn universal that it applies to developers and games I don't even follow.
They left out slagging off other developer's games, having a major figurehead take all the credit for a hundred people's work, having that major figurehead talk nothing but an endless stream of shit and also releasing teaser trailers for teaser trailers for teaser trailers for a countdown of a teaser trailer that announces the release of the demo.
Bethesda's greatest struggle is making a game world that is living and real and won't break because of a player's actions. And it's hard enough with just one player running around Irish dancing on innkeeper's desks and planting poisonous apples in quest npc's lunch boxes.
Imagine it with a thousand players.
Why? So they can delete other people's games off my hard drive?
Because when they do they get lampooned for making a game that requires "theoretical performance". That by the way was a quote from gametrailers.com as to why crysis had to be excluded from the best looking games of the year. Crytek learnt their lesson only to get shat all over for compromising on crysis 2 XD.
The fact you worked out 25 x 20 = 100 proves how easy it is to make a mistake in an off hand comment.
I simply grabbed one of Rage's defining features and joked about how sizeable 25gb is. It's particularly funny considering Doom II's original installation size was 25mb. 25mb to 25gb... how times have changed.
