FYI crytek, adding scaffolding to a linear game does not constitute vertical and open gameplay.
Maybe if you'd actually given us open areas then I would have gladly accepted the step down in graphics because at the end of the day crysis 1 was a little TOO processor intensive. However all I got was an okay alien invasion shooter than gave me literally no answers to the first games ending.
If you pull a halo 2 ending you need to at least finish the damn t...
@LarVanian
Tweeny not twenty. I don't care about their age.
Nobody protested against Tobey Maguire because he at least has a defined look. Sure that look was 'annoying' but I'm not even sure I could tell you what Garfield looks like even though I watched that God awful soft sci-fi nightmare called 'never let me go'. It was an award fishing piece of crap and trust me, no amount of Baftas or Academy awards are going to warm my heart to ...
Speak for yourself.
I don't like the casting, I don't like the cgi, I don't like Peter Parker, I don't like the music and I'm deeply repulsed by the idea of rebooting a franchise that's barely four years old.
Scratch that, I'm deeply offended by reboots full stop.
The guy they've cast as Peter Parker is genuinely one of the most punchable human beings I've ever seen. He rivals Justin Bieber and Robert Patte...
*Press 'X' to stamp on the face of the guy who's in the ruck.*
Sweet.
Has gta V even been announced yet? Why is every one in six articles about a game that hasn't been announced officially yet?
I think the reason capcom isn't being outed as badly as activision is because a) they don't have Kotick, who is a walking PR disaster, and b) because CoD has a bigger (don't get me wrong, I am NOT saying a better) fanbase that fighting games.
Even now when the general feeling is that Activison are cunts and CoD isn't worth all the hype you'll still see any article, no matter how trivial, that features Call of Duty will be straight up on n4g.com's fron...
Oblivion is all about being a prick. Hell I used to feed on the people I robbed just for the fun of it.
I found something slightly amusing about the way that the empire was awarding me it's highest honour for bravery while I was scouting the place out for loot and easy victims.
I know people prattle on about oblivion's immersion breaking bugs and so on but I actually think they give it a subtle charm. I still giggle my arse off every time I do the v...
"Detect Life allows player to detect life in his vicinity - most likely similar to tracking spells of hunter class in WoW"
Or, ya know, like the detect life spell in oblivion?
Great move ubisoft. Pushing back the deadline of this game for PC puts it in direct competition with.... *checks list* fucking everything apparently.
Funny thing is if you'd bastards actually released this when you were supposed to I would have been such a desperate bastard (cause of the summer drought) I would have gladly bought it. Now you genuinely expect this to try and squeeze it's way into the same six week slot as Rage and Skyrim?
Oh well. Fro...
What part of black ops catered for the PC market?
It played like a slideshow and looked like shit. And that's if you were lucky to get the damn thing to the menu outside of all the ctd's.
Any money that because this has call of duty in it's title this article gets in the banner at the top of the site.
I would kill for the opportunity to have id call me into their offices and be like "oh hey man, just thought we'd get your thoughts on doom 4 and rage. What do you think?"
What a lucky bastard.
*sigh*
Yes I'm sure the five people who are still playing crysis 2's multiplayer would be very pleased if they could find a fucking server.
I'd totally defend this game against the review score EXCEPT THEY FUCKING DELAYED THE PC VERSION BY A MONTH AND A HALF!
Not that I'm bitter or anything -_-
How about you give it to someone who's heard of mocap?
Nah just kidding Bethesda, I'm still desperately in love with oblivion and I think skyrim is going to result in the complete annihilation of my social life.
Still though...
...might wanna look into that stuff. Nothing breaks immersion like an entire realm populated by people who walk like they've got IBS.
Look EA I'm going to tell you the same thing I told the guy in the black van who used to hang around outside my school.
You can keep offering me nice things all you want I still remember what happened last time I trusted you. I watched as my childhood got violated in the most profoundly disgusting and morally absent fashion possible.
And at least the paedophile didn't make command and conquer 4.
Yes because clearly video games need to be picked up and shown how it's done by hollywood.
Just imagine a world where the creators of games like heavy rain, portal, indigo prophecy, bioshock, system shock, deus ex, braid and limbo were shown how to REALLY write by the expert movie makers like Michael Bay or James Cameron!? By God, we'd have gone forward a thousand years! We'd have access to all of Hollywood's cash and experience!
Clearly the ...
If this was first person I'd be all over it. Fantasy rpgs just can't reel me in otherwise. Maybe it's because the bulk of western fantasy is dedicated to sucking every last drop of cum out of Tolkein's withering cock. It's all too samey and without the first person perspective they just lack the immersion that I require.
Zeno Clash. Fuck me, now THAT'S a fantasy setting. You won't find any elves in that game. It's like Clive Barker had a fever ...
This list nailed to be fair.
Grenade launchers and better special effects. The legendary shotguns were usually shit, the fixed patterns ruined accuracy and often made them difficult/awkward to use effectively.
I think more enemy types, way way way bigger environments and maybe a select few nuclear armaments as well. Imagine a line of uber-rare nuke weapons.
Also more super bosses like crawmerax and of after playthrough 2.5 the world scales...
Graphics are okay but frankly I couldn't give a rat's ass because this game is probably going to get more hours out of my life than my future children.
