I think i see your point dude. Like in Halo, one crap player in a 4 vs 4 makes a huge difference but one crap player in a 8 vs 8 doesn't always matter. I guess if there was a ranking system your rank wouldn't mean much if you sucked and played in 30 vs 30 games all the time because you could be easily carried by your team. I have however never played in a huge game like that though.
I might have misinterpreted what you said but if you are referring to halo 3, big team battle is 16 person multilayer.

Agreed. The panny BD30 is in my opinion the best looking stand-alone player right now. I have high hopes for the BD50, i just hope it hits store shelves soon.

The only downside that i can think of about using an HD DVD player as an upconverting player is the slower load times.

Thats because some people on this site are just sad. I lost 3 bubbles because is said the PS3 couldn't output TrueHD or DTS HD as bitstream, or even DTS HD in any form, therefore a stand-alone is better. That didn't sit well with some people :-P. Gears of War 2 is big news and some people want to try and downplay it!
Gears 2 should be sweet. I just hope the campaign is longer for this one. Maybe Gears 2 will be the game that pulls me away from Halo 3 online.

Hmm, i have never had mine scratch a disc before or have those read errors, i have never tried Forza though. I only know of a few people who had scratches discs but that is because they moved the 360 while it was on with the game in :-S foolish fools. I wonder if some trays are faulty and that is why the discs get scratched?????
I guess they figure they can make more money selling combo players than single format players. I wonder how long they will keep it up for. You would think if you owned lots of HD DVDs then you would already have an HD DVD player so if you wanted blu-ray you would just buy another stand-alone. That way atleast you would save money. Those LGs aren't exactly cheap.
They should join and i don't see them holding out for very long. Don't they want to sell on the major HD format? Downloadedable content is a long way away, if it is coming at all so they can't exactly hold out for that. Blu-ray won so they just have to join in. Formats die, you just have to go with the winner.
Paramount made a sweet deal. They got the coin then changed sides when they wanted to. Sounds like they got to have their cake and eat it!
That is kinda strange. If they could produce a blu-ray player at the price they were producing HD DVD players then they would make good coin on sales. The average joe tends to buy with money in mind.
Makes sense that they publish on blu-ray now, unless they don't want to make money no high def sales :-P
Congrats and bubbles to imad and ital for the comments you made. Game preference is a personal choice so some people will say KZ2 will be better because that is what they are going to buy and some people will say Gears 2 is better because that is what they are going to own. In the end it doesn't really matter because we are all still going to enjoy playing what we want to play :-)
