That is actually a very interesting point.
Why are people making general comments like if you own a 360 you are anti blu-ray. I own a 360 and just bought a samsung 2550.

Last time i checked with the public and what they wanted i think that this year was the year of the Wii. Damn fanboys and your "Year of the (insert 360 or PS3)". One of the many things that i like about the Wii is its lack of idiotic fanboys!
The Wii is the common enemy because it is the best selling console? Give your head a shake please. It is a cool little console, the games are fun, and it is active. If for some reason i have to miss a gym day i can just give her on tennis for a bit then rock some wii fit. Plus it is a very social console, anyone can pick it up and play, whereas anyone won't pick up the PS3 or 360 and play.

I don't actually care about sales, it is just funny how many people hate the Wii because it is the number 1 console champ. I have a Wii and 360 though, and they are both great.

I agree with Graphics Whore. Plus if you don't have a new HDMI receiver then you won't want the PS3 because it does not have analog outputs and you are limited to Dolby Digital.
I would like the add that the PS3 is on par with atleast two stand alone players now for blu-ray playback. If you happen to also want a games console then the PS3 is the best value for money, but if you only want movie playback then the PS3 is not the way to go.
In the business world companies don't care about stupid fanboyism. If microsoft want blu-ray for the next xbox then they have to pay the royalties. Sony isn't the one calling the shots for blu-ray, because lots of companies are involved and they don't even have the largest share in the IP rights.
MEI (Panasonic) owns the largest percentage of blu-ray intellectual property rights, with Sony, Pioneer, and Phillips also having large shares.
Man you guys have a real hate on for CNET. Does it not make some of you guys happy that whenever they review a blu-ray player that they compare it to their "champ" the PS3.

HipHopGamerShow isn't actually a good reporter. Every show he either has a little bit of flame bait for the 360 fanboys or for the PS3 fanboys. If the flamebait wasn't there then he wouldn't get that much attention because it wouldn't fire anyone up.
You guys do know that someone is aloud to have an opinion that doesn't hold the ending of MGS4 in high regard right? For example the ending for fallout 3 wasn't great but i don't think it was as bad as other people say, but that doesn't make them wrong.
No game is infallible, everyone isn't going to think it is the best thing since sliced bread, so there is nothing wrong with someone having an opinion that is against the general consensus.
A good pick in my opinion, but then again i haven't played all the games on all the consoles this year so it is just based on what i have played. Always been a big fan of the Fallout series and Fallout 3 continues to keep me entertained.

Man you guys like to get worked up over exclusives. If the game is coming out for the console that you own does it really matter if that game is an exclusive or not?
You have got to think they are going to use a larger medium than DVD9 in the next xbox and since some people buy a games console to also play movies then you have got to think that they will go with blu-ray. I guess if they didn't want movie support then they could use HD-DVD.
