Many of you guys have to take a step back for a second. People are just stating their opinions regarding 2 different consoles here. Some people think sony has the better line up and some people think microsoft has the better line up. If you think either of those then you aren't wrong because it is your opinion. You can't say that about Hellraizer's comment because he/she was just stating their opinion. You are basically saying he is out of his/her mind because his/her opinion is not the same as yours. He/she seems to own a 360 and be a fan of the games for that system, you seem to own a PS3 and are a fan of the games for that system. Are you surprised that your opinions are different?
Who cares about ratings? So many people on this website get so hung up on what some goon gives a game in his/her review. I am a fan of playing the game for myself and deciding if i like it or not, i don't let other people tell me if a game is good or bad.

Brain Age (DS), mario kart (DS), and tetris(360) are the only games my girlfriend plays. She has said she would like to get a Wii though.

Well said, people are reading to much into this. The fact of the matter is that the world is full of individuals with different opinions. That is why the game is getting slightly different reviews.
Why do you think halo 3 is only popular in the US? It sold very well here in Canada and i have played with lots of people online outside the US. The majority of my friends are actually Canadian, American, and British.

I wonder how popular BD-LIVE content will be? I personally never accessed the internet content on transformers when i had an HD-DVD player and i do normally enjoy my special features. Maybe over time they will get better?
Dude don't get worked up over it. It is just that guys opinion, if you were writing the review it would just be your opinion. Quit reading reviews and go enjoy the game, it will make you all warm and happy inside :-P
8.7 is just that guys opinion, there is nothing wrong with that. As there is nothing wrong with you guys thinking it should be higher. People seem to be getting a little to worked up over one guys opinion.
Basically what Jinxstar said. Any review is one persons opinion. It isn't a competition to see which game gets the highest score, but an aid to help you decide what games you are going to buy. MGS4 gets a great review so everyone should be happy. If you planned on buying MGS4 anyways, then reviews don't really matter because you will own the game and form your own opinion.
Aren't the majority of video games based on movies normally subpar? The only one i can think of off the top of my head that was sweet was BFMEII.
I agree with your need to make a good game comment. Granted i haven't played the game yet, but from that trailer GTA looks superior. I do enjoy cruising liberty city though, so i might be slightly biased :-P
Dude, that doesn't make sense, it is just one game. That would have been like saying PS3 sales may have gone down after the release of Halo 3. I am a big Halo fan, and i am sure you are a big MGS fan, but lets not fool ourselves about the ability of one game to sell a system. After all, no matter how great a game is, or which system it is on, it is only one game.
They just need to lower the price now. For those of us that want a stand alone player they are still way to expensive. Plus the new cheap ones that are coming out suck!
