I am very confused as to why that is bad news. That would be like thinking bioshock being announced for PS3 was bad news. If a game is available to more gamers then great for gamers. I like my 360 but i really don't care how many microsoft sell because of exclusives.
All i know is that on the Jason Ellis show on wednesday the Xbox 360 was added to the list of "The World's Greatest Things that Can Not Move" along with carbon fiber!!!!.
Why would anyone on this site care if microsoft spent all that money and that sony didn't and saved the money? Do people on this site actually own microsoft or sony shares?
Component cables can carry 1080p and higher. Some hardware won't accept 1080p over component though.
I think lots of PS3 owners are in the same boat as you dude. Didn't they release figures last week showing less than one blu-ray movie sold per player if you include the PS3?

A little tip when calling customer service, never talk to the monkey that you get on the line first. Ask to speak to their supervisor because they can actually help you. Doesn't matter if you are calling microsoft, sony, dell, or logitech (fantastic customer service by the way). I have had to talk to microsoft once, and the supervisor that i got was pretty good. I have never talked to sony consumer support though.
I agree with jaja1434, if you aren't developing for these consoles then how do you know their potential has been fully tapped? Also, making games costs lots of money. Epic knows gears 2 will sell well, maybe they could have invested another x million dollars into making it look better and using more of the systems power, but will they see more return for that money? From the videos i have seen it looks sweet, so i will buy it when it comes out.
Too true dude. In most of the articles on Gears 2 i have read recently i swear i am reading "KZ2" in the discussion thread more than i am reading "Gears". That just doesn't make any sense.
I am seeing the "RGB Full" option is being discussed here. That option making the image look better will be tv specific. RGB full expands the color range to that of a computer monitor. Some tvs will accept it properly, while others will just change the picture, it will look different but that doesn't mean it is a better picture. If you want to know if "RGB Full" makes your picture better then buy DVE and run through the calibration. "RGB Full" may be exactly...
Lots of kids play xbox 360 too, so if their parents are any good at being parents they won't be playing or getting GTA IV for their 360. Same thing goes for the PS3.
Nice post Bladestar. He got disagrees because he said something that is pro xbox 360.
Holy crap, does every exclusive that is announced have to be compared to a game from the PS3 or 360 depending on if the exclusive is for the PS3 or 360? I think i have read "KZ2" and "Killzone 2" in this thread more than "Gears" and this is a gears of war story.
Do people realize that the time they spend analyzing and arguing over GTA versions could be spent actually playing the game? Last time i checked playing it is more fun than arguing over it :-P That is why there is no chance in hell i am going to read all the comments in here.
That made me laugh dude. It only matters when it is an xbox 360 exclusive, everything else is ok :-P
People have to put aside their feelings for what they own when discussing this. The fact of the matter is that blu-ray is too expensive and is out of reach for the majority of consumers. People are saying the PQ is fantastic, well then, why isn't the XBR4 or the A650 the best selling LCDs on the market then. Best LCD PQ but they are very expensive. Price is what matters, the PQ can be fantastic but last time i checked people are still buying walmart brand tvs.
You are in the wrong zone buddy.
^ I wonder which console this guy owns ^
@ ReBurn - apparently those disagrees say it was a hit to you, you just didn't know it.
Can't say it was a hit to me or the majority of xbox 360 owners because last time i checked they didn't sell 15 million plus HD DVD add ons.
I have a question for PS3 owners of grand theft auto, no flaming here please. Is the sixaxis actually any good for driving in GTA because i have found it is challenging just using the sticks? I imagine the sticks would be easier, a little more control?
Some people seem to think there always has to be a comparison competition going on between 360 and PS3 titles. I personally don't get it because i don't understand why people care if the console they own is selling better than another one.
