Wesker is/was one of the most original baddies in gaming. He was classy, cool, collected and he didn't go off yelling and screaming and being some strange old guy or some over-the-top clown.
I think I liked Wesker in RE5 more than I did Chris or any of the good guys.
AGreed.
Gaming is almost as bad as politics now.
Oh my gosh...bubbles, man...bubbles.
I laughed so hard...
Instead of racing on the track Mario will be on the side of the road with his thumb out as a hitchhiker saying..."It's-a-me, Mario!"
Dude, just because you think the keyboard/mouse combo is better doesn't mean everyone loves it.
In fact, I play all my PC games with an Xbox 360 controller, does it mean everyone should?
I think it's a nice alternative for possible interactive solutions in various types of games that could free the controls up for more actions.
That's pretty cool, actually. Not bad at all.
I assume Kinect Trolls will pour in to say how "terrible" the concept is, nonetheless.
Yeah I'm with you. They've really fallen off the bandwagon.
I was hoping for Star Wars: Battlefront 3 but we keep getting Kinect Star Wars games and Lego Star Wars games and now it's just like "meh".
LucasArts used to be cool but I don't even know if they make games that are relevant anymore.
I would love to see another game like Shadow of the Colossus, Omikron, or Penumbra Overature on the current gen consoles. It's just too bad we keep getting sequels and expensive shooter clones.
What a fail, close-minded comment.
You obviously don't game on PC AT ALL.
Max Payne is a game I beat maybe ten times over (and I'm being modest) but it was the mods that made a near perfect game even better, like the Hall of Mirrors which added Gun Kata to the game, or Matrix mods that allowed you to re-enact specific, killer scenes from the 1999 action flick.
Counter Strike started as a mod for Half life, just like Team Fortress did...
Flavor is right, it is DE-Evolving.
I had tons of fun playing games like Doom and Redline back in the 90s, does it mean games shouldn't try new things to make more innovative steps forward to find new ways for gamers to have fun?
I hate the mentality in the gaming community that becomes complacent to stagnation because it's "what's popular". It's so sad that CoD rules the direction of video games these days and it's literally no ...
You can't really count games like Uncharted, which is heavily pre-scripted. It's a gorgeous, near cinematic experience every step of the way, but Epic almost does the same thing with Gears of War. Also note that the AI in both of those games are dumb as doorknobs.
It's a moot point to bring out exclusives as being cornerstones for gameplay/graphics innovation that are published by Sony or MS because they are specifically made to ensure those games make the system ...
It's not about graphics but about gameplay depth. Sony's CPU/GPU are perfect and can go for another five years, but the RAM is the problem...
Destructible environments, enemy AI, stage depth, etc., all that has to be limited by the shared RAM limitations. If there were some way to increase the RAM without having to overhaul the whole thing I'm sure the PS3 would be good up until 2015.
Sounds like it's worth a try. Permanent death? Hmm, that would be worth using on spam botters.
Freaking money-grabbing, greedy, milk-minded sons of whores.
Why didn't they just make it an MMO if it's always online and always multiplayer and then this way they won't have to include DRM and can bypass retail purchases altogether?
Oh...right...they're freaking money-grabbing, greedy, milk-minded sons of whores.
I really wish they made that game for PC...man, I would love to see an iCEnhancer mod for the game like what they did for GTA IV.
"milk? what milk just because people like fable and lionhead keeps making them its not milk... "
You just described Activision, EA and a handful of other franchises there, pal. It is milk.
Milk is when you basically squeeze paid content out of a game without much or any improvement (i.e., Call of Duty).
The idea behind milking a franchise, per se, is that the company invests as little as possible in researching or developing new softwa...
@Kakkoii
What an absolutely fail comment, dude.
No offense but ATI drivers DO control fan speed from the driver-to-firmware-to-hardware process from the CCC.
I keep my fans at 85% at ALL times, and sometimes higher when I'm in Crossfire mode.
I lost an ATI 4x card because it had faulty drivers and wouldn't turn the fan up when playing games that utilized specific shaders, which really put the card into overdrive. Th...
Right on, brother.
All those CoD clones (and CoD itself) rely on finger-reflex and mild auto-aim. Whoever squeezes off more rounds first and the fastest, wins. Pretty gay.
I like in Battlefield that you can help your team win a match just by securing a location, or laying down suppression fire while an anti-tank team moves in to take out opposing forces. I love stuff like that because it really feels intense and immersive.
I'm torn on this topic because I was thinking about the same thing that momthemeatloaf mentioned.
However, you are correct: the the typical "team survival mode" only works when you don't have objectives or 64+ players all vying to control the battlefield.
Usually with objectives I find myself having to make a few sacrifices for the overall team, and I have no idea how players could make advances in a survival mode setting.
Jeseth is saying some BS right there.
Customizing an AK47/74 makes all the difference in the world, especially if it has properly adjusted shoulder stocks to LESSEN recoil. Add on a bipod and the thing is rock solid.
Accuracy is based on the shooter, precision varies to the loadout, mods and accessories.
The dialgue in all the RE games are usually pretty bad but RE4 had some of the worst cheesy lines I've ever heard.
You're mostly right about all your points, though. The only truly momentus achievement in horror the game had was with the Garradors and Regenerators.
I think the Regenerators was so scary because they moved so slow but just NEVER stopped moving...I remember shooting out the legs and then I heard something flopping behind me. And then they ...
