There also Mexican guys named Jesus, too.
On topic: The article isn't that pointless.
Is that Jesus giving an epic-facepalm in your avatar?
This is a pretty good article, though.
I know video game media gets railed on a lot but the author makes really good points about the way gaming media works. There's so much stonewalling and boilerplate marketing lingo that it's impossible for gaming journalists to do a good job.
Think about it, why should it have even gotten to a point where Capcom is fighting fans over disc-locked content? The journalists should have been able to pry this open wel...
Easy:
Project Lead "Cortana needs an upgrade, visually."
Design Dude "Yeah bro, I'm all over that."
Project Lead "So you just made her boobs bigger?"
Design Dude "Bro, she's expanding because of all that corrupted data...it's gotta go somewhere, bro."
Project Lead "That's scientifically sound. Good call."
This game looks completely awesome.
Oh man, I forgot about screenshot comparisons.
Haven't seen these in quite a while. It's like that old crack addict that would come around asking for a dollar, who goes away for a while, but then shows up out of the blue after a long time after switching from crack to meth.
Well, the world is always better with zombies.
EA don't got enough cash to buy Valve.
Valve is worth more than EA and actually has the capital to buyout EA. Google it up and laugh at how the pro-consumer company is now worth more than the pro-greed company.
Doesn't it seem ironic that Pedrobear submitted a story about harassment?
It's like the guy who drives the "Free Candy" van giving a seminar about the problems of molestation in current day society.
When GTA was born the doc was afraid to smack it on the butt because it came out locked and loaded with a beretta and keys to a Banshee.
When GTA was born the doc was afraid to smack it on the butt because it came out locked and loaded with a beretta that it stole from it's police officer dad.
Exactly.
Why on Earth would Take Two kill ALL sales for BioShock Infinite with GTA V overshadowing it? That's just out right stupid.
Agreed.
Crytek says DX11 on Xbox 360 PS3?
Fail.
Enough said.
New content for great games is great, I'm just not fond of the monthly DLC updates for some premium retail/digital games that's usually used in free-to-play titles.
Way, way, way back in the day we used to use something called booklets.
I second that.
Didn't they break the industry changing act of nipple physics and the infamous side-boobage scandal?
They're the Washington Post of digital breast coverage.
That's not all they make disappear.
I like this GameSpot feature. It's a good way to promote a game while getting informed about it. But um, Dishonored doesn't really sound all that original the more they talk about it.
FPS Assassin's Creed with BioShock art-style.
Man, the Force is strong with the shills in this thread.
I, too, am glad EA won because a bunch of gamers who don't mind having their butts bent over and violated keep defending EA, Activision and Capcom in everything that they do. It's the reason we have day-one DLC, disc-locked content and all these other emerging anti-consumerist corporate agendas.
It annoys me more that so many people call themselves gamers and then act like idiots by supporting a...
Gears of War 1 & 2 cost less to make, combined than Halo 2.
Just some knowledge for you there, ace.
There's a lot of misinformation being spread, even by analysts. Just because a pub says it doesn't make it true. You have to see the numbers for yourself.
Just like SW: TOR supposedly cost $200 million to make but it isn't halfway near as innovative as TERA Online or FireFall...and FireFall costs less than an eighth of The Old...
