A way to better make use of Uplay points from playing many Ubisoft games is not waste the points on useless stuff at Uplay. I usually save the points for other games that have worth while contents.
There was such a gamepad for PS2 made years ago. Both analog sticks, D-pad and the buttons are detachable and can be rearranged anyway you like. The stiffness of the analog stick can also be adjusted.
I have one but can't remember who made it.
Anyone that hasn't played Mass Effects 2, today's DLC sale makes X360 version a great buy. The game is $20 or less. All paid DLCs are $7.50. Still PS3 version will be $60. From PS3 demo, the "enhanced" ME3 engine graphics aren't always an improvement because of the drop in framerates after played the demo.
I'm sure many PS3 fans will still disagree because they prefer to pay more than twice the price for all the contents.
One issue with the article about "If you did buy it, return it." That's assuming you haven't opened the game. If you already have, then you can't return it.
As of why would Activision care about the petition because each COD continues to make more and more money being buggy and broken?
It's really:
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me
where "me" is the gamer and "you" is ...
For the dedicated Demon's Souls fans, sure.
I'm just not interested having to spend 7 hours of dying repeatly just to beat the 1st boss at the gate. Many fans said it's satisfying after beating the game but to me game is very boring with the lack of characters interaction to spend that much of time mostly just dying over and over again and stuck at the beginning of the level.
For 7 hours of RPG gaming time, I can make far more progress and more en...
The real question for COD fans after MW2 is why did they rush to buy BlackOps to begin with? Do they actually think BlackOps multiplayer wouldn't be buggy like MW2?
I still haven't bought BlackOps because I knew the game was going to be buggy.
I do support the idea to petition for refund but it would have been a lot more effective if gamers will stop buying games that have high chance of being buggy. When a game doesn't sell as well, then it will ...
Would be interesting to see how well X360 version could have sold if both PS3 and X360 versions were released at the same time in Japan. If FF XIII was released on X360 first and then PS3, the demand probably will be higher.
EA's strategy to give incentive to buy their games early by including (or rather enable) extra contents on the 1st print by calling it Limited Edition.
It's a very clever and cheap for EA because it's easy to disable or remove certain contents from the later prints.
Very interesting how some PS3 gamers talk themselves into believing DA: O is better than X360 and ME2 on PS3 will be better.
I played DA:O on both PS3 and X360. PS3 version often drops to poor framerates during battle and cutscenes.
ME2 demo on PS3 also has poor framerates which is quite surprising after all hypes having better "graphics".
So, I guess having all the contents on one disc is more important than not having good framera...
That's the beauty of games with no money back on quality control. This is not to say you don't like the game and want your money back. It's when the game is release broken but yet there is no such thing as money back.
And game publishers will continue to release buggy and broken games as long gamers are willing to buy them.
Most games today are released with so many bugs and broken.
It's more like "quantity and quantity" where former quantity refers to rush to release and later quantity refers to sell as many copies as possible before the game goes to the bargain bin.
Quality is more of a hope today in games after multiple patches later.
It seems whenever someone comments that ME2 demo on PS3 doesn't have smooth framerates, it gets a lot of disagrees. I played the demo and commented of poor framerates and also getting disagrees.
My opinion is many PS3 gamers have been waiting for ME2 and with the hype of PS3 version has better "graphics" because of ME3 engine, reading someone saying it has poor framerates just don't go well. It's like popping their hype bubble.
Hasn'...
Whoever disagreed must not think smooth framerate is important or still think final ME2 code for PS3 will fix this.
One thing is obvious. Many PS3 gamers have been waiting for ME2 and want the hype to be true on the PS3 version.
We'll see when the game comes out. I do hope PS3 version at least runs as good as X360 version.
Is smooth framerates not important anymore? Having played ME2 on X360 and demo on PS3, it was disappointing to see the demo has poor framerates and some screen tearing.
I read other PS3 fans are hoping the demo is based on an old build. I'm guessing ME3 engine is still in beta which is used on ME2 on PS3. Bioware still has a year to improve ME3 engine for ME3. If this is true, then the final ME2 code for PS3 version may not solve the framerates issue.
Played ME2 demo on PS3. The framerates are not very smooth and some screen tearing. X360 version has smoother framerates.
Two factors:
1. Is the HD version a port from PS2 or Xbox/PC version? PS2 version of SC were often the inferior version with different level design.
2. Multiplayer. PS2 version was the inferior version for multiplayer.
If Ubisoft wants to make the best SC HD, they need to port from Xbox or PC version to PS3. If they port PS2 version to PS3, I wouldn't buy it. No point in playing the inferior version even in HD.
After 4 years, there are still many developers who are lazy to optimize the PS3 games from loading from the disc directly. It saves the developer's time just shove the entire game data to the hard drive. It's not the developer that has to pay for the gamer's hard drive space.
If Sony is serious about making the developers optimize the game loading from disc, they need to enforce hard drive install as only optional. That way, gamers who prefer full install can do w...
That's because virtual enemy's head is hollow to stop the bullet. If the virtual character's head is modeled like real head with skull and brain, the bullet will be stopped after the first head or second head.
Just showing how unrealistic in shooter games.
Rule of playing games especially long RPG games is always make backup of the saved game files to an USB storage.
I hope ME2 on PS3 doesn't have console locked saved game file as many EA games have.
Ezio does have a sister. If Ubisoft provides a way for Ezio to train his sister to be one of the brotherhood assassins, she can wear his armor "dress".
