Catherine is like the traditional adventure puzzle games that were common on the PCs. Watch some cutscenes, solve some puzzles, repeat.
Demon's Souls is very difficult game but at least being difficult action is part of the gameplay.
Unless you like puzzles, Catherine gameplay is quite boring. The way to make the puzzles "interesting" is having to solve it to see the next cutscenes.
That is what made DA: O and DA2 so much more interesting than any other RPG games. While playing Dragon Age, my favorite is listen to the teammates talk and what they think of each other. It brings so much more depth and personalities to the characters which makes more like a real person. It also influence how I treat them. With character like Aveline, it's the type of character that you know you can trust because of how she treats her guards and her friendship with Hawke.
If long hair is animated in great details individually by each hair than just a big piece of hair moving like a wave, it takes more processing time from the CPU.
Just watch the commentaries from Pixar as the hair got more complex in each movie, they always said they have more computer power to do it.
That is why the developers didn't say 25GB, they said one Blu-ray disc. Whenever any company try to justify why they can't do it, they always drop the most important information. But if there's a live journalist there asking why not use 50GB Blu-ray disc, the developers probably going come up with another excuse like too expensive or ignore the question.
Not the case with LA Noire as it's only using 25GB Blu-ray disc which is slightly over 3 DVD DL discs.
I bought my Wii after a few months it came out for one primary reason, Wiiware. Of course, after owning the Wii, Wiiware games are often not worth the price.
Now I play my Wii 0.1% of the time as the other 99.9% is playing on my PS3 and X360.
There is no such company that advertise 100% truth about their products. Every company mixes hypes at the top of mixed truth and lies in their marketing.
Question is the product advertised with more truth or lie? And how much hype is put the top to make the product more exciting?
So if you say there are examples that advertising that don't lie (100% truth), I don't believe you.
