The article didn't say average story campaign length.
As for the PSN Pass, has anyone checked if it's locked to one PSN account to "sharable" with all other accounts on the same PS3 console?
Assuming Microsoft is going to release Blu-ray on X360 for games (which probably wouldn't), it will interesting if Blu-ray drive on X360 can read will be faster than PS3. One reason is X360 reads the DVD disc from outer inwards which is also the reason X360 DVD drive is so noisy from high rotation. If X360 Blu-ray drive also reads from outer inwards, it should be able to read faster. But we'll probably never know as it's very unlikely for Microsoft to add Blu-ray to X360 especiall...
Oops. Yes, it's Activision published COD. Still Activision or EA, what's the difference between them. Both are milking as hard as they can.
On "one page" of script long.
I agree with you but for more money, why would EA want that? Take one story, cut into three short single player campaigns on three games.
Then again, some FPS gamers don't even play the story campaign. I have COD friends who never played or complete the story campaign.
For myself, I mostly play the story campaign only because I'm not interesting running around the same group of maps over and over only to gain scores and perks. I wait until the games g...
While DLC is optional but if the publishers intentionally removed part of the contents that were developed for the game, then you are really paying more to have a complete game. Originally, DLC idea was post release newly developed contents but as Capcom has done with several games, most of the DLCs are not post developed contents. It's like includes only "80%" of the contents as "full game" and then sell you the rest of the "20%" as DLC.
I p...
A year ago, Capcom said they are going heavy DLC. I guess they have really gone overboard with DLC. Even with complains, Capcom knows there are enough fans who will buy every DLC.
I just don't buy DLCs. When the full game comes out, I judge the value by the included fighters, costumes, etc before buying it. If there's indication Capcom intentionally removed too much contents to be sold as DLC or if DLC is available immediately, I don't buy the full game.
Many retailers already started "dropping" X360 price like PS3 a few months ago. That is usually pointing to official price soon.
My impression when I saw Simpsons model chosen as the picture is Microsoft acting like Homer for not dropping X360 price. Let's try to gain as much profit with the current price until they got beaten by PS3 later in sales.
I used to be exclusive PC gamer until PS2/Xbox. Spent a lot of money buying the "secondary 3D video card". I got tired of having to tweak the PC when I get new games and then having to tweak again to ensure older games stay compatible. For gamers who only care about playing the more recent games and not caring to keep "100" game titles compatible on the same PC with single boot OS, PC works.
There are some very old games I just enjoy and try to play the ea...
Many 3rd party controllers have "dead zone" on the analog sticks. I also prefer the arrangement of Xbox style left analog stick and the shape of the controller. The only reason I buy 3rd party controllers over using Sony DS3.
No "dead zone" on the analog stick and good D-pad are critical to make the controller fully usable so that I don't need to switch to Sony DS3 for certain games.
What is the purpose to play games?
Question is did he enjoy playing the really bad games just for the trophies? When trophy enhances the parts of the game, that's one thing, but when you have to spend hours of no real gameplay just to obtain the trophy, what's the point because in the end, it's just an "icon" to brag about.
If Trophy Level 50 is the max level, will he continue to play more games?
Unless the collectables such as weapon or armor that is needed for the gameplay, they are useless. If they happen to be in front of me on the missions, then I don't mind picking them up. If if there are a few Collectables that are hidden away which require hours of running around to find them, then no. I don't care if I have a few locked achievements/trophies to find those Collectables.
But it works for certain gamers who must unlock every possible achievement/trophy...
The thing about marketing is it will say anything to get attention. And then the marketing will only advertise with very specific types of game/demo and pretend other types of games that their product can't do aren't shown.
If it's Apple product, if they don't have it, you don't need or want it. If Apple has it, it's better than gold and that is all you need to care. (I can hear Apple fans disagree with me here).
With Move controller becoming more common, everyone who owns a Move set has a microphone. Unless the Move gamers unplug or disable PS Eye with mic, it's there all the time.
It's really easy to keep the all the squadmates alive by completing their loyality missions and assigning the right person during the suicide mission.
My idea is intentionally kill as many squadmates as possible to see the "alternate" path in ME3 assuming Bioware does ensure the dead squadmates effect the ME2 gameplay and hopefully the storyline. Actually, it's quite tricky to ensure which squadmate gets to stay alive at the end. I had to replay the suicide ...
I'm not referring to Shepard died at the end of suicide mission in ME2. It's possible to ensure Shepard stays alive with almost all the squadmates died at the end of the suicide mission. (Just because a squadmate isn't loyal doesn't mean he/she will die or if the squadmate is loyal, he/she can still die if having a non-loyal squadmate together in a mission). How about killing off all the non-DLC squadmates at the end of suicide mission? Just keep the non-essential squadmates a...
I'm curious if Shepard let almost all squadmates die in ME2 suicide mission, how ME3 is going to replace the critical dead squadmates. In this video, Mordin is NPC. So, if he's dead in ME2, who takes his place?
In ME2, if Shepard was always be on Cerberus side such as gave Legion and the final Collector base to the Illusive Man, will Cerberus create more powerful enemies or treat Shepard differently as they are more on friendly team.
Male Shepard was based on a real person. There's still no real person that female Shepard is based on. At least now she has a default marketing model.
Bioware said the FemShep will be on the Collector's edition but what about trailers and marketing ads?
Thanks for the info. I'm planning to rent the game since I'm only interested in story campaign.
