The best use of Gamestop is "buy" the pre-owned games, play them and return within 7 days. If you completed the game, it costs you $0. If you do decide you like the game enough that has online pass, return the preowned copy and buy the game new.
Real question is how many millions of casual Wii gamers are complaining about lack of new Wii games?
By the time Wii U is out, how many existing Wii gamers will care? That's going to be a huge challenge for Nintendo because some PS3/X360 gamers will pick up a Wii U but Nintendo needs a huge existing Wii gamers to be interested.
And, how many developers will continue to develop games for Wii after Wii U is out. Compared to PS2 after PS3 is out, there were ...
If part of the money allocated for marketing is used for development, the games could come out better.
Fanboys don't need the game marketing. It's just to feel better. Example, does Halo need that kind of huge marketing so that gamers and fanboys are more "aware" of the game?
But it's always the fanboys that complain why their favorite game doesn't get enough marketing.
Mass Effect 3 is developed for both PC, PS3 and X360. Obviously it's easier to "maxed out" if the code isn't optimized tightly for each console hardware. That's why the developers will not say they already optimized the multiplatform game for each hardware the best possible.
As anything to do with marketing, look for things they don't want to bring up. That's always a reason.
Reviews I read said it's short. Is the DLC has some kind of side quests or open world where I don't need to go from one "chapter" to the next and the game is over quickly? Also when the DLC story has completed, can I still wonder around?
Until Sony allows 3rd party controller to support Bluetooth, you aren't going to find any PS3 controller that has Bluetooth.
But there was a PS3 controller made that has Bluetooth but discontinued.
Still there's no story in multiplayer. Having a good story in any game is the most important.
Blowing everything up gets old quickly.
For me, I never enjoy online multiplayer that much because there's no story. I don't play for the top dog. So, I enjoy story campaign more.
But I can see many gamers only care about score and try to be the top dog and don't care about the story.
That's the reason most FPS games continue to include the story campaign because there are plenty of gamers who do care.
I assume that means BF3 on PS3 can take over 40+GB of hard drive space?
That's why it's unrealistic. It's only a game. But in games, it has to change the rules. If the game tries to teach you how to maintain a gun, gamers will complain they don't care because they rather shoot the gun to figure out how it works.
If military based game only has one life which is the first rule trying to be realistic, then every gamer will have to be very careful on how they run around and shoot at each other because if anyone dies, he gets kicked o...
How can it be realistic? If you die in the real world battlefield, you don't respawn. That already made the game unrealistic.
Everytime I hear someone said games like Battlefield or COD "realistic", I just laugh. And then TV ads keep trying to advertise those games as so realistic.
Isn't the high price for download version is the buyer doesn't need to deal with the disc?
Of course, the download version has no value once you bought it since it can't be resell or given away.
We can complain all we want like saying not going buy games with online pass. The reality is how many gamers have the self control to do it?
With the recent Batman AC complains about the online pass, I read many gamers said if the game isn't that good, they wouldn't have bought it because of online pass. See the complains just don't work because most who complained still bought the game coming to self control.
And game publishers know that. Go ahe...
Are you talking about the 4 primary buttons layout? I saw that earlier but in fighting games, the buttons can be remapped. I always remap buttons layout for any fighting games.
Street Fighter uses the grouped 4 primary buttons, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. Soul Calibur V uses the alternate primary buttons layout, 3 at the top and 1 at the bottom. Is there an official name for both layout styles?
Interestingly, Tekken 6 fight stick for PS3 and X360 have d...
Looks like other Mad Catz made fight sticks. Selling a new faceplate makes more sense than new fight stick for most fighting games but it's more profitable to sell the entire fightstick with a new faceplate.
Unless there are real mechanical improvements or change in buttons layout, makes no sense to buy another one with different game theme.
Too many fans today want to see 10/10 rating on every review to feel better. If a game is really so good, what is wrong with some 8 or 9/10 from reviews?
If I review games, I probably will never give any game perfect rating because there is so such thing as perfect game to everyone.
I usually read multiple reviews for a game. I found someone especially a fan who reviews a game usually bias and give the game higher rating than it should be.
Gamers love to play game with full of bugs because they can't wait. Waiting is not an option.
$60 = play now + bugs.
When it comes out, can someone post the length of the playthrough?
Until you try to play as dumb detective style. You simply cannot fail as long you are good in shooting and chases. For questioning, it does not matter even you got everything wrong. As long you found enough clues for the next location to appear, you will win every case.
