I find it surprising that no reviewer tries to play LA Noire as dumb detective style because you will find no matter how hard you try to question witness or suspect with failed results, you simply cannot fail in the game. That's the mistake with publishers nowadays thinking every gamer has connection to internet to download patches and the "removed" contents as DLC.
For myself, I don't believe bugs are part of the game experience. True that there will be always some bugs left in the game after multiple patches but the most of the nastier bugs do get fixed by patches. So waiting until the game is decently patched is worth the wait than running in nasty bugs.
I picked up Batman AC yesterday but will not play it until there are patches that fix some of the critical bugs. Why rush to play the game now knowing you may have to deal with bugs?

PS3 has two clocks, user clock can manually change and internal clock that user can't manually change and only updated when you sync time over the internet.
I have tried manually change the user clock and the trophies time stamp were still based on the internal clock.
Not sure if Batman AC looks at the user or internal clock to count that you "play" the game on the required days.

Install size often shows how much the developers care to optimize the loading speed. Even games that have "no install" often caches on the hard drive.
Best design is do a small install for data that get loaded most of the time, optimize the disc loading, cache chapter specific data to hard drive since the data is only used for the chapter and load all the cutscenes from the disc. But developers are usually too lazy or too rush to ship the game.

The article is inaccurate saying online pass contents aren't DLC because you still need to download the single player contents that aren't on the disc.
Since ME3 online pass is required for the co-op multiplayer, is it still going to lock up a character or quest like ME2? EA has been quiet about it. Being quiet almost sounds like a character will be locked.
The issue with character unaccessible without the code is the character becomes unimportant to the story because the story has to assume any "locked" or "DLC" character is not required. In ME2, neither Zaeed nor Kasumi are important to the story.

Technically, there's no need of "specially" built USB keyboard and mouse for PS3 to use in games if the developers choose to support it.
To date, only one PS3 game that supports USB keyboard and mouse which is Unreal Tournament 3. X360 version dropped the USB keyboard and mouse support because they worked too well like playing on the PC.

ME2 on PS3 ran on ME3 engine has more graphical glitches.
But it could have been a good thing since ME2 on PS3 used ME3 beta engine to clear out more bugs before ME3 game comes out next year.

Tried 30 minutes ago (9pm MST) on X360 version and still getting unable to connect to EA servers error.
Even PS3 Blu-ray can store up to 50GB, most developers only want to use 25GB and argued the Blu-ray disc is full and can't fit everything. Of course we know what the developers said that to find an excuse to sell part of the game as DLC.
A better question to developers who removed part of the game contents to be sold as DLC during launch. Since X360 version usually max out the discs and the DLC must be downloaded, why can't the PS3 version put the DLC on the disc but ...
