I read several reviews saying XIII-2 story is bad or makes no sense.
None of the points in the article said anything about the story. I have played XIII-2 demo and really like XIII. But unless XIII-2 story is good, it doesn't matter how many things else got fixed, there is no point playing the game. I don't play games because the battle is fun without a good story.
I had more fun playing ME2 but not going on any of the squadmates loyality mission.
On the final suicide mission, a few squadmates will survive even without their loyality mission. Depending where to place all unloyal squadmates, more or less will survive. The only requirement if you want Shepard to survive after running back to Normandy is have at least one correct loyal squadmate that is willing to pull Shepard back into the ship.
Example, I also tried only...
Until the real ending is cut to be sold as DLC later. Bioware did say they have to change the ME3 ending after the script leak. Bioware could be saying the new/changed ending is on DLC only.
Don't laugh yet because if EA/Bioware wants you to buy ME3 new, they can easily move the real ending to DLC that is included with new copy or sold separately. Anyone who plays the pre-owned copy gets no ending or fake ending.
If such idea is implemented on racing car games with one person controlling the car, it's something you don't want to do while driving very fast.
If it's implemented into a war car where another person does the shooting, it can still be done on the split screen with traditional controller. With one player, I need to keep my eyes on one screen, not moving my head away to look at another screen.
One thing Nintendo still hasn't demo is trying to ...
That is why Nintendo is heavily marketing hypes on Wii U. Hype isn't real and Nintendo marketers can say whatever they need to ensure Wii U continues to sound amazing. As the article said the faithful will buy it. Some PS3/X360 gamers will buy it because they are curious. Some existing Wii owners will buy it for the same reason, newer must be better.
For example, many Wii owners want 720p/1080. Didn't Nintendo say playing Wii games on Wii U will not be upscale the res...
That's why I don't believe him because it's empty talk.
I have to say Reggie talks better than anyone from Sony or Microsoft. So that does make him a better marketer because a lot of Nintendo fans believe him.
I met a local Nintendo PR last year. I asked her the same thing where's the hardcore games on Wii and she kept trying to out of answering the questions.
Reggie loves to make all kinds of promised like hardcore games on Wii but never deliver. Of course being a marketer, he has to say 2012 is year for Wii U. I don't believe he will deliver.
So far, Nintendo has only shown hypes, but anything solid.
ME2 The Arrival DLC is already on sale at Live which is $3.50 or 50% off. No Gold Live is required for the discount.
I'm also waiting for it on sale on PSN. Over the years of sales, I have found there are more DLCs I like to buy on sale on Live than PSN.
Really, I never got hurt playing my Wii but I got hurt playing Kinect.
I would bet a lot lower or Nintendo will use percentage activity played number on marketing.
I play my Wii 0.1% of the time to play specific game once in a while. Does that say I'm an active Wii gamer? Of course, not.
Except none of the explorers kill hundreds of bad guys to reach their treasure. Or, falling out of an exploding plane.
If the game doesn't have Resident Evil title, you probably think it's another zombie shooter. Does the game let you choose which side you want to play as?
Having the pre-order weapon or armor or not, the game has to be designed to be playable without them. That is what I found in every game.
Always amazing about such type of lawsuit because X360 custom memory card hasn't been supported since the slim model came out.
Also, X360 has been supporting general USB flash drive for sometime now (even that's because of the lawsuit, it's a good thing for the gamers).
One thing that 3rd party never want to say about 1st party blocking the 3rd party product for xyz reasons. 3rd party loves to sue for the damages on not able to sell. But really if...
We can argue and reason all we want about the amount and types of bugs before it effects the gameplay or enjoyment. The fact is as long we keep giving the publishers our money first, we are telling the publishers that it's okay to ship the games with full of bugs.
There are plenty of reviews and forums discussion about games today. Just give it a few days after the new game comes out and we should have decent feel of the bugs. If we have to rush to pre-order and buy the n...
I thought Sony doesn't allow 3rd party to use Bluetooth for game controllers?
Or some 3rd party controller makers simply ignore it and sneak in a Bluetooth controller. There was a 3rd party Rapid Fire controller that used Bluetooth but it didn't last long on the market before discontinued. I wonder if Sony has something to do with it.
I don't believe in hypes. When they are out and saw gameplay, then I'll either believe or not.
We still don't really know how the actual game will turn out. Until the actual games ships, whatever the game should have are just hypes.
I wouldn't be surprised when Vs XIII does ship, it's not going to be everything fans wanted.
Where did the article say PS3 sold more? It's about FF XIII-2 isn't selling as well over all.
I read from several sources that the gameplay improved, the story sucks or makes no sense. That seems to be consistent among different reviewers. Reviewers that said the gameplay is fixed or good said nothing about the story.
