The problem with this article is that Digital Spy is making the assumption that the only reason these games aren't coming to Xbox is because of the exclusivity parity clause and that they didn't have time to do it. And that future titles should be coming to Microsoft platforms.
But if you read the Curve Studio's blog, they make it sound like they will never bring their stuff to the Xbox until Microsoft eliminates this clause. They say it's not because they don't ha...
$500 million over the course of 10 years isn't that bad. They also have to be looking at selling more than just a $60 game. DLC will be incoming big time as the game goes one.
I'm not into these kind of shooters, but Destiny definitely has me interested.
I think Nintendo is competing against more than just Sony and Microsoft. They're also competing against phones, ipods, and tablets.
My daughter spends all her time playing Minecraft on a cheap android tablet than she does with the 3DS. Her friends all have iPod touches to game on. And one year for Christmas I had a niece get a 3DS while her sister got an iPod touch, now they both have ipods.
Nintendo use to rely on the youth market, but more and more of them are going over...
Nintendo needs to turn things around. A lot of people say, "Nintendo is fine. They have so much cash in the bank that they can afford to take losses for years."
That's not the case. Other companies that have followed that path are now gone. I point to Nokia as a prime example. They had billions in cash, but it slowly eroded over a few years.
The problem with being in the hole like this is that it takes a lot of money to get out of it. The billions that Nintendo ...
I bought my first PS3 just so I could play God of War 3. Luckily, it was bundled with the God of War Collection, so I played all three straight through back to back to back.
Doing that really highlighted how great GoW 2 really is in the series.
That's my hope as well. The game also slows down from time to time, but otherwise it plays great. I mean, it's God of War.
The review or the game? :)
Taking two of the greatest games ever made and bundling them into one package is awesome.
Now I just need to wait for the Sly collection to come out in the US
It reminds me of MySpace.
Why do so many video game websites insist on using white text on a black background? It just doesn't work.
I read the article and couldn't get past him calling the PS4 Camera the PlayStation Eye, which was a fun toy for the PS2/PS3, but it isn't the camera you use on the PS4.
I believe the technical term for this article is "click bait" and I fell for it.
Now time to write the article "Wii U is More Powerful Than XB1 and PS4 Combined"
I was not interested in this game before and I'm even more not interested now.
Thanks for playing it so I don't have to.
First - Showtime
Second - The Pirate Bay
Third - Xbox
Now if only the PS4 (or XB1) had mp4 support.
I don't like that it sits there glowing while I'm trying to watch Netflix.
Who is hating anything? The article is saying that Microsoft's entertainment division is in complete disarray and that TV executives who have been approached my Nancy Tellem have discovered that there is no viable business plan currently in place.
Based on a lot of the comments I see, I want a show of hands. How many people read the article and how many people just read the headline?
I have no idea how this would work on iOS, but on the Vita it looks great. It took me a minute to wrap my head around what this game is, but I get it now. That's exactly how I play Stardust HD, just try to avoid everything.
If it's priced right, could be a lot of fun.
You don't get it. The console can't do 1080p. Sony lied about it. I was in Best Buy the other day, and I was trying to decide between a PS4 and XB1, and well, I had to choose the XB1 because Killzone Shadow Fall wasn't technically 1080p in the multiplayer mode. I told other customers to be wary of Killzone Shadow Fall multipayer not being 1080p, 60fps and they were all aghast. Everyone picked up a Titanfall bundle and marched home happily.
Oh, wait. No, that never...
Personally, I think Dead Nation works best on the Vita because the screen is so close to your face. I used to stand super close to my TV when I was playing it on the PS3 just so I could see what the hell was going on.
I completely agree. I don't understand all the people who give the games on Vita such a hard time. "Just a port of a game that was on Steam a year ago. Just a port of a PS2 game. Just a port. Where are the AAA exclusives?"
Most of the games that are being ported, I've never played, so they're completely new experiences for me.
Am I the only one super excited for a God of War 4? The ending of 3 made me want the story to go on.
The problem with Ascension (and Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta) is that they were prequels. Prequels aren't as much fun. A true and proper sequel would be amazing.
