Man, this looks cool.
The Pro Controller also looks really sweet, shame it's such a badly made controller.
I don't know if convenient would be the correct word if the BD driver ended up being a separate module.
As for the sale, interesting. Both this and the Fifa bundle were constantly on sale in my country. Didn't even knew it was more expensive than just getting the console alone.
Hopefully, this is only for PS5. Otherwise high chances of the PS4 version fucking everyone else multiplayer experience.
Yeah, same division, budget and team as well! Incredible insight! Should change your profession to business analysis kiddo.
Well, it might be:
1. The successor to the Xbox Series. That would make some sense, we have a bunch of new tech reaching the consumer market at once. From faster memory to better and more efficient architectures. So starting to think about the successor does make some sense.
2. It's the mid-gen upgrade. Same reason as before, there is new tech available and I doubt manufacturers will drop the idea of a mid-gen renewal. It will be interesting to see how they do...
Switch maybe, but too much waifu for Sony to allow on their platform and Xbox probably wouldn't care.
I mean he more or less explained why people use the term JRPG, which his "Final Fantasy colleague" seems to dislike and sees it as discriminatory. It's exactly because of those small cultural differences that can be felt through the games.
As for not having western inspirations. What I can say is that most of the stuff that I played involved him always had this same Japanese game feeling.
Well, considering that the dog is dead now. I would consider it a full reboot and a bad one at that. /s
Yeap, it's a company that is only interested in the growth of its own business. So of course it will take routes that are arguably morally dubious to hurt its competition. If they could, you can be sure that they would take every single major release under the sun from Xbox. And don't get me wrong. Microsoft and even Nintendo would do the same given the chance.
Now, will that stop people from glorifying a brand and even defending them? No, but we can only hope that...
It's bad because they want to block the acquisition in its entirety. And they for sure gain more from that than they would from any deal that Microsoft could come up with.

As in not always.
That is an issue with VR as a whole. Very few games offer enough content to really keep you there and the ones that do usually are more arcade-style.
They do, but they are a much smaller player. If I recall correctly their own servers are US and EU only. And as they rely on even more minor players to provide the service everywhere else, their potential as a service provider for a third party is barely there.
I really wish that publishers would understand that increasing the price in poorer regions will at the very best bring them lower sales. And on the very worst actually incentivize piracy of their game. That is doubly true when the world is passing through a recession.
That is actually very bad. Basically means that the only two players with the infrastructure to offer this sort of service are now Microsoft and Amazon. So every single cloud service will have to rely on one or the other.
You built the libraries specifically for the Switch and the other consoles. Meanwhile, you are reusing an existing library on the Steam Deck. Of course, not all games will run, but the Deck at least give you the option to do that. And you could treat it as a console and also build a library specifically for it. Which makes that "big problem" disappear.
Plus, contrary to what Nintendo did with the Switch. You can actually reuse your Wii U library on the Steam Deck...
Personally, I see "perfect for Game Pass" being those games that alone would likely struggle to find an audience. Either because they are weird/different or because the game itself is hard to sell with traditional means like trailers.
Almost an average of 120 frames at 4K maximized with RT enabled. Given recent AAA games, that is a solid performance. Hopefully, it scales down well.

"I got the Uncharted collection pretty much on launch day and I honestly didn't notice any stuttering on Uncharted and Lost Legacy."
There is literally written guides on how to fix Uncharted stutters: getdroidtips.com/uncharted-leg acy-of-thieves-stuttering-lags - freezing/
So if you did not have stuttering on it, that is good. But they existed, were reported and really easy to find with a simple google sear...
Sort of a funny post, considering that The Last of Us part I is pretty much the worse port Sony has put on PC. Right now sitting with an incredible 36% positive reviews all thanks to the terrible job that was put into it with many buyers reporting that they can't even see the menu before it crashes.
