This will stomp the SD in emulation though. The lowest SKU is a 6c/12t.
PS3 and Switch emulation which are not quite that good on the SD, should run flawlessly on the Ally.
Ironically enough, where the SD will probably compete is PC games. Because the lowest SKU for the Ally also features a fairly "limited" GPU with only 4 RDNA 3 CU against the SD's 8 RDN2 CU.
Nope. It only supports the Wii U Pro Controller, unfortunately.
Yes. I mean we already have a Switch that doesn't Switch, so it wouldn't be that much o a stretch.
And Nintendo would never make a home console to rival the other two, they don't even have the developers anymore to support something that would be that powerful. So a simple "screenless" Switch 2 would be much more viable.
Oh, I do agree with that. It's a very impressive headset that is unfortunately tied to a fastly ageing piece of hardware.
As for the article. I also agree that it's incorrect in many regards and full of premises that try to paint a picture that we can't know it's true. It serves very little function other than to fill the fanboys with the hope that their new accessory is not a commercial failure.
That is a very good question. I would assume that the price/content ratio would be the large reason. But given that even cheaper games had a hard time selling (see https://www.engadget.com/20... it's probably not the only factor. So it's really hard to pinpoint what exactly might be the problem.
As for why those games thrive in VR. It's also hard to find...
This was a wild article. The way the author managed to spin a 0.001 difference in attach rate that only appears if you normalize the install bases of both consoles as something positive it's really impressive.
Honestly. I want a Switch TV, the same way the Lite is exclusively portable.
I want something the size of a Apple TV that is exclusively to be used with a TV.
A Persona 3 remake would be incredible. It's one of those games that doesn't really have a "best way" to play because the content is split between versions.
And a new Jet Set Radio is definitely interesting. But I do wonder how the current public would accept it. Both previous titles are extremely arcade in their execution.
I mean it's interesting. But depending on how that is accomplished there could be a plethora of issues. The large one is the battery life, anything that needs to heat or cool uses a lot of power and Sony's track record with battery life is pathetic already.
You thought wrong, very wrong.
There are extremely few cases where recycling is monetarily advantageous over virgin materials. The most famous case is aluminium. Plastic, unfortunately, is not one of those short for a brief period when China manage to recycle it with labour-intensive mills that operated on thin margins. Overall companies and countries only do recycle it because they either receive some fiscal benefit or because they are legally obligated to.

Tell me you are a joke of a publication without telling me you are a joke of a publication.
Good job estnn.
It makes no sense for them to ask that in a survey, not to create exclusive titles... Text interpretation 101, maybe take the course next time.
Or do you honestly think a company like Capcom would consider the fans when a console manufacturer comes with a bag of money for an exclusive? Cause in that case, please seek help.
Pff
Leave it to "thegamer" to create the most egregious headlines and interpretations.
The question asked in the survey is just to see the level of interest that people have in a new Resident Evil title, and sure it can be interpreted as an exclusive. But that would make zero sense for a third party like Capcom to do. So what is the most likely interpretation? Well, simple, if they ditch the older generation would people move to the new consoles/PC to play the next R...
I mean he is not exactly wrong. The Xbox Series S will not be able to deliver 1440p/60fps. But the point that always gets a bit muddled is the fact that neither the Xbox Series X nor the PS5 is going to be able to deliver 4K/60fps every time either.
And that is fine. Consoles are not and never will be the place to go for high-end gaming, they are the place where you go for bang for the buck. And as long as they can deliver consistently fun experiences the resolution and ev...
I don't doubt that you didn't notice the issues with the controller. The vast majority of people don't even know what makes a good controller. But I can tell you that the Switch Pro has many issues, the main ones being the surprisingly bad sticks, that not only have terrible accuracy, range and circularity but are also cheaply made and prone to degradation. And the badly designed d-pad with its tendency to fail diagonals and the worse implementation Nintendo ever made short of the...
Sort of a funny post, considering that The Last of Us part I is pretty much the worse port Sony has put on PC. Right now sitting with an incredible 36% positive reviews all thanks to the terrible job that was put into it with many buyers reporting that they can't even see the menu before it crashes.
Man, this looks cool.
The Pro Controller also looks really sweet, shame it's such a badly made controller.
I don't know if convenient would be the correct word if the BD driver ended up being a separate module.
As for the sale, interesting. Both this and the Fifa bundle were constantly on sale in my country. Didn't even knew it was more expensive than just getting the console alone.
The controller looks dope.
The covers make the console look less ugly, but I'm still waiting for a "non-kaiba" PS5 Slim.
