Again, if you only want to game. Sure, the PSVR2 is not a bad choice particularly because Sony will definitely develop or pay for content for their device. But comparing it with an all-proposed VR solution is sort of apples to oranges.
As for the PSVR2 working on PC. Time will tell, but if they manage to make it work with support for all its features. Then it could be a very compelling device for PC VR even with the lack of a DP port.
Unless you literally only want to use it for gaming I wouldn't compare the two. Because other than that, they are fairly different devices. One is a standalone solution that can also be used together with multiple different systems in different scenarios and with access to multiple ecosystems. While the other is an accessory locked down to a single device and ecosystem.
That said, comparing it to other similar options from Meta, Pico, and Pimax is completely fair game....
While I understand the sentiment, Microsoft has a lot of studios right now that haven't shown any new stuff. Compulsion, Double Fine, The Coalition, inXile, and Tango don't have anything new revealed, so it would only make sense to have some announcements coming from them.
This is a seriously weird device. It's basically a cut-down version of the Meta Quest Pro, which would be totally fine if the price was also much cheaper. But the lack of features like tracking (eye, face, hands) and foveated rendering probably is not enough to justify the still over a thousand USD price-tag.

Because it's not easy, Silent Hill 2 is a PS2 title. Its design from the visuals to mechanics was created around the limitations of the hardware and what was common sense back in the day. Trying to make a 1-1 copy of that to modern platforms that do not share the same limitations, with a public that does not share the same sensibilities will simply show how things are not the same. Yeah, and that is sort of the problem. The ways we currently have to experience the game is by either hunting down the original hardware, emulating it on going through some hops to get the Unofficial Enhanced Edition working on PC.
And look I'm not even asking for a remaster, just give us a port of the original, one that doesn't suck so we can play on other platforms officialy.
I think people don't even know what a Millennial is anymore. Because most of them weren't only alive when the original games came out but were also in the target demographic for them.
That will be a bummer if true. As RE4 is probably the title that better holds up to today's standard and it's widely available everywhere. So keeping the Remake too close to the original could make it redundant.
Honestly, I feel that is for the better. There is no way Bloober Team or any other developer would be able to recreate the original. So going with something a little bit different might be for the best. Or so I would say if the original wasn't so bloody annoying or downright impossible to get for modern platforms.

Sort of impossible to have that when the target audience is on mobile. But maybe try Fenyx Rising, it's a single-player BotW clone mixed with Assassin's Creed (the newer ones).
While I do agree that the PS5 will keep the Gen4 NVme drivers alive for longer, it is still a really odd article given that so far there wasn't an SSD standard that died yet. We saw reductions in the production of some standards like the M.2 SATA, but even that can still be easily found. The exception is basically enterprise solutions that never truly hit the average user.
Personally, I see RDR2 as the best realized Open world map. One where you could find new things at every corner and be full of secrets to discover. However, both ER and especially BoTW where more open in structure.
Honestly, I don't know if we can even blame them for that take. Nintendo's Sakamoto was credited as the writer and from what we learned later with the Retro Studios interviews for the Prime series, Nintendo apparently never saw Samus as this stoic badass that most of the west imagined her as.
