Yep! 3 *is* the best.
Never understood why people love to hate on it, while holding up 2 as perfect.
The entire series is great though, 1 is dated, but if you look past it's weaker graphics and unrefined mechanics, it's also awesome.
The *size* of that crowd = Day one purchase.
@GrizzliS1987
Because, you see, many reviewers have gotten too big for their britches. They think their role is to criticize games for things they don't do.
The fact is there is also something called "limitations." They are hard to surpass.
It would be like someone observing a quadruple backflip and saying "it was ok, but five would have been better."
In criticizing companies (selectively, mind you) ...
Microsoft just needs to stop commenting on this. It's a great way to remind everyone of Xb1's shortcomings. Just focus on games and convincing people there is value to be had going forward.
"We used to make awesome games." Said Rare in *yet * another statement to the press.
Yeah, I agree, combine this with the inaccurate launch date, and this article isn't worth wasting 2 minutes on.
@Sitdown, yes this happens extremely often.
You come at this from an enthusiast perspective...but don't forget tons of consoles are sold to mom and dad, because it's little Timmy's birthday this week. They go to the store and say "give me the coolest, most awesome, game machine!" Stock, *strongly* dicatates what Timmy's parents will be walking out of the store carrying on the week of his birthday.
This is only one facet, but on any g...
This is the best part of playing a primarily online game administered by a big faceless corporation...oh wait, no, it's the worst part.
Hmm really? So if you are reviewing a Honda Civic your review would be the same if it were $5000 or $1000000?
The Civic is priced the way it is, because of it's perceived value and value directly relates to a review of a product.
4/10 might be harsh, I dunno, I haven't played it yet, but it really does seem like this game is way overpriced.
This is what I've dubbed Pre-LC (DLC that comes first) DLC generally goes for $10-$15 and...
Yeah, no. A major retailer isn't going to sell refurbs for full price. Especially another company's product. Apple can sell refurbs too high, because if it's turd, they literally just toss you another. The service matches the price.
Yeah, but haven't you heard? Gaming journalism is now like TMZ, where everything is sensationalized and the highlight of a "journalist's" week is ambushing someone on the way out of the toilet.
Wtf has happened to f'ng everything? People need to start going back to some semblance of substance or the next generation is going to be an enormous disaster.
Yeah, it also looks awful. I was expecting WAY more from them. But give them time. They will improve.
Look at the screenshots. They clearly look as good as the old ones did, if not better.
Also, your opinion is proof that no matter how insanely good looking games get, there will always be someone complaining. I'm not criticizing you though..I think you're wrong, but yeah, to each their own.
@ArbitorChief
Not that I really care about this irrelevant story. However:
Check your logic.
Titanfall is out already, there are obviously going to be more videos out of it.
Also, this bickering is ruining gaming news.
Yeah, I mean it's apparently a great infrastructure of servers, but it's definitely spun out of control once the marketing people got a hold of it.
With all the running jokes and memes and fanboy obsession and how much it's been abused as a sign of future power... They might want to stay away from referring to it vaguely as they have been. Seems like it's pretty much become just a detriment to marketing at this point -a shame considering how costly, valuable ...
People will freak over this, but honestly, it's just cool that they can run it at all. The console is going on a decade old.
That gif will...melt you face.
At this rate, devs are going to get terrified to show us in-progress builds.
Yes, it does seem that some aspects are less detailed. However, what jumps out most is the lighting seems to be much less contrast-y.
At the end of the day, this is an extremely good looking early-in-the-gen game. What else matters? Should they have stood at the podium at E3 and explained that "these are target renders...depending how things go some details may or may not make i...
@LOGICWINS
Because the concept is to leave the reviews open to people who bought the game/product elsewhere and want to contribute to the discussion on Amazon.
In theory this is a sound concept. However, item/model confusion, isolated issues(related to the retailer they bought if from) clouding reviews and trolling, make it far more complex than it should be.
The labelling system seems to work though, perhaps the best alternative is to have ...
@boyscout299
Um...how old are you? Have you lived through console launch before?
This is BETTER than average, by a lot.
Stop expecting a 5 year library on day one.
