NitroPlus is known for their Eroges / Visual Novels and a lot of these are targeted mainly for males hence the fan service.

There's actually a sub-genre for these sort of games targeted mainly for Females called Otome games and there's actually A LOT of them. They tend to be a lot more focused on romance, relationships and drama instead of action, sex and other "manly stuff".

J-RPG's have been on a decline for a while now, which has made...

Different language and writing system is rather common challenge for game localization.

That or English just sounds cool to them so they might occasionally go overboard with it.

Knew nothing about this as well.

Have to give it to the man though, even with ilness like this he still worked hard his remaining days to give fans what they wanted.

While I may not agree what all the stuff Nintendo does, this is a great loss for the industry.

Yeah, didn't see number anywhere so how much the sales actually increased is still a mystery.

Actually in terms of handheld games, Vita already has many handheld exclusives as plenty of Japanese games tend to get released on PS4/Vita or PS3/PS4/PSV.

Many of them just get ignored because the west seems to prefer home consoles to handhelds even if the PS4/Ps3 version is actually the ported version.

I am guessing that popularity of PS Vita will only grow in the future since it was kinda a head of it's time at launch like PSP was. (3DS can barely hold...

KOnami could at least publish the Ps2 version Suikoden in european PSN so I could finally play it.

@Volkama
I feel pity of Sega, they've made/published bunch of great games like Yakuza, Valkyria chronicles, Vanquish, Resonance of fate and Bayonetta among others.

Those were all great games and appreciated by many, however the sales for each of those were disappointing at best.

Yeah, the FOV problem sounds like something that can be improved upon in future devkits. It's similar to the low resolution of occulus rift when the first devkits where handed out.

Really hoping that I'll get the chance to play around with this on PC in near future.

Finland is very socialistic country, I am guessing that the government would probably end up paying most of his legal fees as Legal aid.

I am not saying your system is broken, but from all I've heard it seems to favor the corporations and rich citizens way more than common citizens. (our system gets a bit funny with the rich since our fines are linked to your income, how does 100k USD speeding ticket sound?)

When it comes to your privacy, crazy hackers are the least of your problems.

A lot of Finns don't have credit cards, just debit cards. Their best bet would probably to hack his Paypal or something (But wouldn't recommend it).

Our banks are very very cautious with suspicious card activity, e.g foreign transactions.

AR Still has plenty of potential as Sony and Nintendo haven't even scratched the surface with their toys. AR has potential to revolutionize not only games and simulations but normal life as well.

Here's a excellent video demonstrating what future of AR is about: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Best part is around 1:54 where AR has projected a TV, News feed, Calendar, live fe...

Civil Court Procedures work very differently in Finland than they do in US. I don't think money will help Smedley here even remotely as much as it would in the US.

You do know that In Europe you can actually get a fair trial in most countries no matter who you are.

He's Finnish Citizen not a US fugitive. Crime he committed was committed in Finland.

Extradition of own nationals is not something that countries do lightly, I have never heard US handling out their Cyber Criminals to other countries.

@joeorc

//1. Neither Contracting State shall be bound to deliver up its own nationals, but the executive authority of the requested State shall, if not prevented by the laws of that State, have the power to deliver them up if, in its descretion, it be deemed proper to do so.//

He's Finnish Citizen and extracting own nationals especially minors makes this a bit more complex.

I am actually interested seeing will our government have the backbone to keep him here, or will he be sent to a "fair trial" in the US.

I am guessing the latter because currently we are being lead by nationalist, wimps and number turncoats. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bend over.

Our legal system doesn't work that way. In here corporations can't just go around ruining peoples lives with army of lawyers. You can actually get a fair trial here no matter who you are.

And for my understanding Sony and Microsoft didn't get hacked by this dude. DDOS Attack isn't even remotely close to hacking.

Well Finnish economy (or should I say European) has seen better days, socialism isn't without it's problems.

In capitalism corporations abuse people and in socialism many people just want to abuse the system.
There's no winning in this.

Maybe because our Legal system is very different from the one found in US.

It's very very rare in Finland for someone to sue a person or corporation. Since he's a minor I wouldn't even be surprised to see the government covering all the court costs for him.

Finland is rather socialist country compared to capitalist US.

The real question here is why should we care?

if the developers want to objectify women or men in their games, let them. If you think there's demand for different sort of games then make / fund one.

It's stupid to go around whining about games like Senran Kagura or Scarlet blade when you're clearly not in their target audience.

They'd likely lose, our legal system doesn't work like the American one. Corporations can't just go and ruin peoples lives with army of lawyers.
