Because Season passes and pre-order bonuses (DLC) are cancer for gaming in general. It divides the content and promotes downright idiotic consumer behavior.
These simply do not benefit consumers in any way, it's just their way to milk money from consumers on advance where consumer doesn't really have even vague glue on how much content there will be and will all of it be good.
Compare this to expansion packs made for Oblivion, Morrowind, Diablo3, Warc...
At least the project is in capable hands, Ingress has been pretty big success considering how the Genre is still relatively new and requires somewhat more effort from players than many other games.
well considering the genre, that alone probably warrants a high score.
Personally fail to see what's the problem with the game. It's not like the original series but at least they are not trying to fool us in to thinking that it's Overlord 3.
Personally I have nothing against spin-offs or developers trying to expand their IP's to different genres as long as they are informative enough about it. Nintendo does this all the time with Mario / Mushroom Kingdom and people love it.
I am sucker for dungeon crawlers so l...
Was so looking forward to Haze and even completed it, but you could really tell that the new hardware and the hype was too much for Free Radical.
You failed to see my point.
What I mean is that they should favor titles like Higurashi, Umineko, Fruit of Grisaia, Ever17, Clannad, Fate Stay Night and Baldr Sky over the stuff like Sakurai Spirit where it's painfully obvious that they have just removed the sex scenes and toned the ecchi scenes down with to get it accepted on steam.
I think it's important to show people that these are interactive novels not softcore porn games.
Religions have influenced our social values a lot thought the years. It has made sex outside marriage seem like taboo of sort along with nudity. It doesn't matter if you are religious or not as it has influenced our views and ethics long before we were born and reached us through our parents, friends and media.
But since people are getting less religious in the more advanced countries they are starting to question some of these values and become more open for stuff like ...
Story descriptions of some of these sound very dirty.
In my oppinnion JAST, Sekai Project, Manga Gamer and others should be very cautions on what visual novels they bring to steam. There are many Visual novels out there with great plot, interesting characters and little to no R-18 content and often even some fun gameplay.
These are great way to bring new fans to the genre while fixing the "hentai game" image some players might have. When the communi...
It had Open world, it just wasn't a sandbox like the one in GTA or Just Cause are. It was merely there to give players some room to experience the story.
You could however drive around as much as you liked during certain missions/chapters.

Consoles are closed platforms so platform holder like Apple, Sony or Microsoft can decide what and when something get's released to the system.
Most platform holders don't allow the porn industry on their platform due to sex being generally more frowned upon in cultures than violence. There are also a lot of cultural differences between countries on what is acceptable and what is not. (gay marriages, polygamy, what is underage, what women are allowed to do etc. )
Considering the comeback that Sony did with the Ps3 I could say everything is possible.
It's doesn't really matter if you are the top seller, it's important that you keep your system relevant and challenge the competition with every mistake they make.
I really hope they can keep up with Ps4 sales as it would keep even Sony on their toes and maybe bring us some healthy competition in form of high quality games and services.
Oddly enough I've never had this problem with Ds3 and the analog stick on it is fairly close to the DPad.
But fighting games could really use the disable touch pad and analog sticks option because those tend to be just on the way for most of the time.
Haven't played SF much but if I remember correctly it had fairly forgiving inputs but the combo links were pretty tough compared to the other games I've played.
The Asian version might even have English translations.
To be honest I've heard nothing good from Fighting game Pro's about DS4. It's less durable than Ds3 and the D-pad just isn't as good. Sticky Triggers are pain of MK10 community from what I hear and I've already broken one D-pad while testing out the thing for GG.
In Guilty gear half of the time I drop inputs that I do perfectly fine with Ds3. The game is very strict with inputs compared to MK10 which is generally more forgiving. Sliding inputs on the thin ...
That's one hell of a Collectors edition, a lot more than I was expecting for more or less a niche title like this.
The Yuri stuff sounds fresh.
But what I am really excited about this is the fact that this is from gust and it has actual real time combat that looks a lot more dynamic compared to their previous games.
But.. But I like this cute stuff!
There's still the more serious stuff as well, but you kinda have to look for it harder than before when it was the more dominant style.
They went the less serious cute route because the west is all about realistic and serious games.
VA in question is Sean Chiplock
Click baits and click bait journalism can rot in hell for all I care.
It's pretty much impossible for them to surpass the feats and stuff from the original, just the amount of competition and how people percieve fps games today compared to when the original launched will diminish the experience in comparison.
However as a fan of the originals I am very happy to see that they are at least trying capture some of the key elements from the original games and spice it up with modern stuff.
Nintendo needs casuals to survive, the fact that they are opening up for stuff like Pokemon GO and Pokemon Shuffle shows that Mobile gaming is breathing to their neck.
You've simply missed the games like Puzzle and dragons and Monster Strike that have taken Japan by storm. A lot of the Japanese developers that have made some of the best 3DS games are focusing more and more to Mobile. Capcom, Square-enix and Konami to name a few.
